The Second Coming - Part I

Era of the Prophets

BUT, WHAT DOES THE PROPHECY OF THE DEVIL BRING?

The prophecy of the devil is depicted clearly in 1 John 2: 16. He assures you the lust of your eyes. Whatever you see and lust, whether it is this handsome man or that beautiful woman or that wonderful house, he promises to give you. Again, he is ready to satisfy your lust of the flesh and give you the pride of life! It does not matter to him at all how you achieve this! You can use whatever means or ways you want to use! All he wants is to trap you! His philosophy is, “Enjoy life! Enjoy now itself! Employ any method you like!” This is the prophecy of the devil. But, heaven is beyond his realm and reach. It is none but our Lord Jesus who can bless you with heaven! Lord Jesus is the only way to heaven (John 14: 6).

The Lord Jesus offered Himself as a living sacrifice on the cross only to give us heavenly blessings as well as the heaven itself! This is the difference between the prophecy of Lord Jesus Christ and the prophecy of the devil. But, people run after the prophecy of the devil because it helps them to satisfy the lust of their eyes, lust of their flesh and the pride of their life instantly and liberally.

That is why our Lord Jesus says that he who is filthy, let him be filthy still (Revelation 22: 11). Yes! Whoever receives the prophecy of the devil is sure to become filthier! But, he who listens to the voice of the Lord Jesus through the Holy Spirit shall become holier and shall get ready for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Yes! The prophecy of the devil will be widespread. But, let’s concentrate on the prophecy from Jesus Christ. It opens the door for Jesus to come in. Even today, He is ready to fill you with His Holy Spirit and make you a prophet. You can bring Lord Jesus into your life and through you into your family, your nation and the whole world. Cry out to God and ask Him to fill you with His Spirit.

God always reveals His plan to establish His Kingdom all over the world to His prophets (Amos 3:7)! Thereafter, His prophets begin to prophesy! Afterwards, you and I prophesy and not somebody else! Everyone who has been washed by the blood of Jesus Christ is entitled as well as expected by Jesus Christ to prophesy! That’s why He says in Acts 2:17, “I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh.” Yes! My friends! All of us have to prophesy! Then only the gospel can reach all the ends of the earth. Not just Paul Dhinakaran or someone else! All will prophesy! Everybody will prophesy!

AND, WHAT DO WE PROPHESY?

We prophesy the God’s plan for everybody to prepare the world for His Second Coming! So, what we receive from God, we speak through the tongues that God gives us. Yes! There are man’s tongues and God’s tongues!

If you read Psalm 22:1, you see how man’s tongue speaks. What does it say? It says, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” Man’s tongue says God has forsaken him and there is no hope in this world. It sees only stealing, killing and destruction. Yes! This is the tongue of mortal man.

Again in Psalm 69:20, we see how another tongue of man speaks. It says, “Oh! There is no one to take pity on me, none to comfort me, all have forgotten me and run away” Still, another tongue of man is seen in Psalm 73:3! It says, “Oh! I am a righteous man. But, see my wicked neighbour. He is living in wickedness yet he is prospering!” Yes! Words of jealousy! Words of jealousy come out because he feels he is righteous but he is suffering while his neighbour is prospering though he is wicked. Yes! This is how the tongue of man speaks!

But, the Lord says, “When I fill you with My Holy Spirit, you will speak in tongues as you prophesy” He says in Mark 16:17, “In my name they will speak in new tongues” Yes! New tongues! Not the language of men! But, you will speak the language of God.
