The Bible says, “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of this earth” (Acts 1:8). From today onwards, the Lord will give us this strength (power).

WHEN CAN WE BE WITNESSES FOR JESUS?

Only when you look at Jesus, spiritual power and grace will descend on you! You will receive a new strength and you will be witnesses to our Lord.

Lord Jesus said, “I cannot do anything on My own but what I see the Father does, I also do in like manner. And, whatever I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me” (John 5: 19; 12:50).

Yes! When Lord Jesus was in this world, He was a true witness for His father! He told His disciples, “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also. He who has seen Me has seen the Father” (John 14:7, 9). Today, the Lord is giving the same grace to us also. Acts 2:17 says, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams.” Yes! The real power is having the gift of prophecy, seeing visions, dreaming dreams and also having the divine experience of talking with the Lord. All these gifts are given to the sons and daughters of the Lord.

The Bible says in Isaiah 40:30, “Even the youths shall faint and be weary and the young men shall utterly fall.” Yes! These things will surely happen in the lives of those who lead a worldly life. But, the Lord says, “When you wait on Me, you will not be depressed, you will not be weary, you will not stumble but you will prophecy, you will have visions and you will mount up on wings like eagles and fly to great heights.” The Lord will give us the gifts of prophecy, the gifts of visions and the gifts of dreaming dreams! “You shall come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 1:7). Yes! When we wait on the Lord, all the gifts of the Spirit will be given to us! The Lord Jesus will be revealed through us!

My father always said, “The Lord Jesus is very liberal in giving. He is never a miser when it comes to giving to His children.” Yes! He will give you the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit. Till today, the gifts of the Holy Spirit might have worked mightily in your lives. But, yet there might have been many inadequacies also. But, from today onwards, you will have no shortcomings at all! You will see all the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit operating mightily and perfectly in your lives. Therefore, do not worry about the things of the flesh and the world but wait on the Lord only! The more the gifts of the Spirit are revealed, the more the power of the Lord will be received! You will have the wonderful experiences of the Lord talking to you and see Him guiding and leading you in your lives. You will receive more and more power and mount up with wings like eagles and soar to great heights!

From today onwards, every gift of the Spirit will start operating in your lives! We are going to minister in a very active way that has not been seen before. We are not going to walk in the worldly way but in the path of the spirit! This grace will descend on us! This is what the Lord wants to give us! As we wait on Him eagerly, He will bless us with the power of the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit and help us to be mighty witnesses for Him all over the world!
