“However, when He, the Spirit of truth has come, he will guide you into all truth; for he will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come” (John 16:13).

Friends! He wrestles with us only to reveal through the spirit what is going to happen in the future to us who are in flesh. The experience of wrestling is just to believe it as it is and to accept it.

Jacob wrestled with God in his heart because he thought that his brother would kill him when the day broke out in the morning and he wanted to save his life from him. Though he waited on the Lord, yet he waited only for things of the flesh. So, he could not experience the plan of God in his flesh. And, he could not fly to great heights also! That is why the Lord wrestled with him, saying, “My will is not just to save you from your brother but to change you into a godly prince so that you would be called as the one who wrestled with God and men and prevailed over them. Will you believe this and accept this plan of mine.” When the Lord told him that He would bless him and make him a godly prince and the father of a nation, he understood the plan of the Lord. He held fast to Him and said, “Lord! I will not leave You unless You bless me. When You bless me, all my curses will leave me and all my fear will disappear and I will become a new man. Let my future be according to Your plan.”

This is the power of the vision of the Lord! It is the power of the gift of prophecy! It is the power of seeing the Lord Jesus! Yes! The Lord is wrestling with us so that we will be able to comprehend His heart and He will be able to give His grace to us. When we understand this truth, we will be able to surrender our life to Him! Then, the Lord will fulfill His plan for us and help us to soar to great heights!

Will you plead with Him, saying, “Lord! I am ready! Please give me Your grace.” “The Gentiles shall see your righteousness and all the kings your glory. You shall be called by a new name which the mouth of the Lord will name” (Isaiah 62:2).

According to the above promise, the Lord will make all the kings and all the people groups to see your righteousness! You will be called by a new name given by the Lord! The Lord will cause mighty miracles through you! Perhaps, you might have been under the influence of the people of the world like Jacob! But, now the Lord will talk with you as you wait on Him, as you come under His plan and His guidance! Hereafter, you will not be put to shame! You will not feel depressed! You will not stumble and fall down! He will give you a new name! He will make you a godly prince! He will exalt you! Therefore, wait on the Lord! He will pour out His power on you! He will make you His witnesses! He will adorn you with the gifts of the Spirit and bless you abundantly! He will cheer you up by giving you His vision to know about His will and His plan for your life!
