Dear friend, today's word of blessing is from Isaiah 59:19, which says, “When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.” When the enemy attacks, he comes suddenly and forcefully, surrounding us with troubles from every side. Sometimes we feel crushed, helpless, and finished. But remember, when the enemy comes like a flood, that is the very moment when God intervenes. The Bible says, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all” (Psalm 34:19). Like Job, who was crushed again and again yet said, “When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold” (Job 23:10), God will bring you out stronger and purer. The enemy may press you hard, but the Lord will never let you be destroyed.

The apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 4:8, “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed.” God allows certain trials not to destroy us, but to display His strength and glory through us. Every time you face repeated hardships and wonder, “Why me again and again?” know this: it’s a sign that God is preparing to act. Humble yourself before Him, submit your heart to His will, and resist the devil. Then the Spirit of the Lord will rise like a mighty banner over you. The verse says the Lord will “lift up a standard” meaning, He will raise a flag of victory over your life. This flag represents His love, His protection, and His authority. When the enemy sees that banner, he flees in shame. Remember, if God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31). Whenever you feel surrounded, say with faith, “The Lord is on my side; I will not fear; what can man do to me?” (Psalm 118:6).

Do not be afraid, dear child of God. The Lord will strengthen you and uphold you with His righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10). When you are weary and weak, the Spirit of the Lord will empower you. When others try to put you down, God will raise you up. The enemy may try to crush you, but the Lord will make you walk with your head held high. He will give you victory and joy. Trust Him, for He will raise His banner of love over your home, your health, and your future. The same Spirit that healed the broken and delivered the oppressed in the days of old will move in your life today.

Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank You for being my deliverer. When the enemy comes like a flood, lift up Your standard for me. Strengthen me when I am weak in body, mind, and spirit. Deliver me from fear, sickness, and oppression. Let every power of darkness and witchcraft be broken in Jesus’ name. Fill me with the Holy Spirit and cover me with Your love. Raise the banner of victory over my family. Turn my sorrow into joy and my defeat into triumph. Let Your name be glorified through my life. Set me free from every bondage and fill me with peace and strength. Thank You, Lord, for bringing deliverance and victory today. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray, Amen.
