My precious friend, God has a wonderful promise for you. In Acts 2:17, He declares, “I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy.” The Lord desires to pour His Spirit upon you. While the enemy tries to pour out discouragement and oppression, God says, “My Spirit sets you free.” When His Spirit comes, you will prophesy, speaking as God speaks instead of speaking fear, defeat, or weakness. Jesus promised that if you ask the Father for the Holy Spirit, He will surely give Him (Luke 11:13). You are not an orphan. In Luke 12:49–50 He said, “I have come to bring fire on the earth… but I have a baptism to undergo.” That baptism was His sacrifice. He gave His life and rose again by the Spirit’s power, and now pours that same Spirit into you, freely, because He has already paid it all on the cross for you.

The kingdom of God is like a wedding feast (Matthew 22:1–14). Many who were invited refused, so the king called those from the streets. In the same way, God calls you, no matter how unworthy or rejected you feel. Many are called, but few are chosen. My friend, you are chosen, and that’s why you are reading this now. When the Holy Spirit comes, He enables you to live in holiness. Jesus said in Revelation 22:11–12, “Let the holy person continue to be holy. Behold, I am coming soon, and My reward is with Me.” Why holiness? To receive His reward. Hebrews 12:14 declares, “Without holiness no one will see the Lord.” Holiness flows from peace with others. Unforgiveness hinders our prayers (Isaiah 1:15; 1 John 3:15). However, the blood of Jesus cleanses us and enables us to love and forgive (Hebrews 12:24). There was a man who longed for the Holy Spirit but was unable to receive Him. His pastor urged him to reconcile with anyone he had quarrelled with. Remembering his anger toward his sister, he sought her forgiveness. Returning to prayer, he was immediately filled with the Holy Spirit. Reconciliation and forgiveness prepare our hearts to be filled. The Holy Spirit also empowers us to bless others. Isaiah 60:22 says, “The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation.” A young, uneducated girl once received the Holy Spirit at a prayer meeting. Later, in her church, she began to prophesy accurately. People repented, and the congregation grew into thousands through her Spirit-filled obedience. If God could use her, He can use you. The Spirit of God also brings wisdom, favour, and growth. Luke 2:52 says of Jesus, “He grew in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” When the Holy Spirit fills you, you too will grow in wisdom and grace. He will even give you prophetic solutions in your workplace and community. Leaders will look to you because the Holy Spirit will speak through you.

To receive this, we must humble ourselves like little children. Jesus said in Matthew 18:3, “Unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” God reveals His secrets to the humble (Luke 10:21). Be childlike, cry out to Him, and He will fill you. Like Elisha, who boldly asked for a double portion (2 Kings 2:9), you too can ask. God longs for sons and daughters filled with His prophetic Spirit in this generation. My friend, the Holy Spirit is near you even now. He is ready to fill, guide, and transform you. Open your heart and pray: “Lord Jesus, thank You for dying and rising for me. I ask You now to fill me with the Holy Spirit. Make me holy, make me Your temple, and use me as Your child to bless others.” As you ask, the Holy Spirit will fill you, and you will never be the same again.

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your promise to pour out Your Spirit on all people. Thank You for dying on the cross and rising again so that I can receive this priceless gift of the Holy Spirit. I humbly come before You today and ask You to fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Cleanse my heart with Your blood, remove every trace of unforgiveness, and make me holy as You are holy. Lord, make me Your temple, lead me into all truth, and empower me to live in Your love and righteousness. Use me as Your child to bless others, to speak Your Word with boldness, and to carry Your light into this world.  In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
