SOMEBODY NEEDS YOU
                     – Dr. Paul Dhinakaran
 
“Each of us should please our neighbours. for their good, to build them up.” (Romans 15:2)

What a beautiful calling. God has placed us in families, neighbourhood, workplaces, schools, and communities  to build up the lives of those around us.
 
How do we Build Up the Lives of those around us?
 
1. Love others as Christ has Loved us : When we treat people with the same love we have received from Christ, His love becomes visible through our lives, and others are strengthened. When we choose forgiveness over bitterness and love over resentment, we allow the love of Christ to flow through us and build others up.

Jesus’ disciples made mistakes, misunderstood Him, and sometimes acted out of fear and selfishness. Yet Jesus did not give up on them. He corrected them when necessary, cared for them in their struggles, provided for their needs, and helped them grow. This is how Jesus loved His disciples, and this is how we are called to love the people around us (John 13:34; Mark 12:31; Colossians 3:13).

2. Carry the burdens of others : Jesus beautifully illustrated this through the parable of the Good Samaritan. Love must not remain only in our hearts; it must be expressed through our actions. Today, the Lord calls us to stand with those who are struggling. Let us respond with compassion and do whatever we can to help. As we carry the burdens of others, the Lord will carry our burdens. He will watch over us, sustain us, and lift us up (Galatians 6:2, 10; Hebrews 13:2).

3. Speak words that give Hope : We build others up not only through what we do for them, but also through the words we speak.

“I remember a couple, Raju and Aruna, who came to the Jesus Calls Prayer Festival in Kakinada with a deep concern for their children, particularly their studies. They came to me for individual prayer, seeking the Lord’s blessings and guidance. As I prayed for them, the Lord moved me to prophesy over their children, saying, “Your generation will prosper.”

Raju and Aruna held on to what the Lord had spoken and continued to trust Him. The Lord honoured His word. Their elder son scored 92% in his Class 10 board examinations and continued to excel in Class 11, scoring 90%.” What a joy. A prophetic word from the Lord strengthened this family and encouraged their son in his studies.

Yes, when we make ourselves available to God, He will put the right words in our mouths to strengthen someone at the right moment. But to speak the right words, we first need the right heart—a heart filled with compassion. When God gives us such a heart, we will not simply notice someone’s needs; we will want to do something about them (1 Thessalonians 5:11; Proverbs 17:17).

My friend, every person God brings into your life is an opportunity to show His love. As we make ourselves available to the Lord, He will fill us with His love, compassion, and anointing and work through us to touch the lives of others.

Prayer
My loving Heavenly Father, give Your children the grace to carry the burdens of others, speak words of hope, and be a blessing wherever they go. As they walk in this calling, build their homes and establish their families. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

IMPACT IN OCTOBER – BECAUSE OF YOU
 

In the Online Prayer Festival held on October 17th and 18th, Dr. Paul Dhinakaran and family led people in praise, worship, and prayer. Prayer requests came through WhatsApp, live chat, social media, and our digital prayer platforms. The Lord led Dr. Paul Dhinakaran to call out specific names and share prophetic words concerning people’s individual needs and problems. Nearly 3 lakh people had attended and were blessed.

“Sister Susannah testified that her daughter’s marriage was miraculously fixed within a week of receiving prophetic prayer during the previous Online Prayer Festival.”

On October 2nd, Dr. Paul Dhinakaran prayed individually for more than two hundred people who came carrying their needs and burdens to our Prayer Tower. He listened to each one of their requests and laid hands and prayed for them for God to move mightily in their lives. Moreover, on 19th October Br. Samuel Dhinakaran had the privilege of ministering to 6,500 people in Kakinada during the Youth Meeting in the morning and the Blessing Meeting in the evening. ‘A little boy testified that he too wanted to be a prophet in that meeting’ and many surrendered their lives to the love of God.

We thank you for your loving prayers and generous support. Last month alone, we were able to serve and minister to 4.7  crore people, bringing God’s peace and blessings to countless lives.
 
  • Through the Prayer Tower Ministry, 1.41 lakh people received prayer and encouragement directly.
  • The Telephone Prayer Tower ministered to 3.6 lakh precious lives during their moments of need.
  • 61,500 people received encouragement through letters and emails.
  • 21,550 people received strength and hope through Dial-a-Prayer calls.
  • 2,995 special blessing and outreach meetings were conducted across all Prayer Towers, impacting 1,15,110 people.
  • 1.13 lakh people were ministered to through the Prayer Oil Ministry.
  • 1.5 lakh visitors were ministered to through the Jesus Calls website and mobile app.
  • Social media platforms reached 4.6 crore viewers, bringing the hope and love of Christ to individuals and families.
  • 5,600 children and young people were blessed through Kids Club ministries and Youth Meetings at the Prayer Towers.
 
 
KARUNYA UNIVERSITY
(Advancing Innovation and Creating Global Impact)
 
  • Karunya joyfully celebrates 40 years of excellence in education, research, and service to society. As part of the celebrations, Honourable Chancellor Dr. Paul Dhinakaran released ₹8.16 crore worth scholarships for meritorious students.
  • Karunya hosted the Indo-German Impact Nexus 2026 and DAAD Early Career Researcher Day 2026, bringing together experts from Germany to explore innovative and sustainable solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges in water, energy, food, and health.
  • Karunya earned an overall Diamond rating from QS I-GAUGE, advanced to 317th place in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2026, and secured a place in the 1201–1400 band of the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2027.
  • Karunya faculty secured ₹114 lakh in funding under the JST-LOTUS-ASPIRE Indo-Japan Joint Research Programme. Karunya researchers also published seven patents covering biodegradable devices.
  • Karunya created a remarkable milestone in the World Book of Records, UK, with 7,000 students getting into a formation to honor their teachers. In addition, two Karunya Research Professors undertook research engagements in Romania and Taiwan, focusing on water research, sustainable environmental technologies, and green materials.
 
 
SEESHA
(Restoring Hope and Rebuilding Lives with Compassionate Care)
 
  • SEESHA organised a food aid programme and distributed blankets, essential food supplies, and sanitation kits to 40 orphaned, abandoned, and economically vulnerable children in Khunti, Jharkhand.
  • SEESHA conducted general medical and eye check-up camps in Ranchi and Khunti, benefiting approximately 130 children and community members through medical consultations, counselling, and free medicines. These initiatives brought essential healthcare services to remote communities.
