My precious child of God, I greet you in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today, the promise is given to us through Psalm 103:4, “God redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies.” And verse 5 adds something even more beautiful, “God satisfies your mouth with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
Our God is a God who redeems! He can pull you out from the pit of destruction and crown you with His tender mercies. My friend, perhaps you are leading a wrong life, a life heading toward destruction. You may be a drunkard, or you may be an adulterer, but listen, God can give you a new life. He can bless you with a sweet, perfect, and joy-filled life. If you turn to John chapter 4, you read about a woman, a Samaritan woman. She was filled with sin, caught in lustful living, and had many husbands. She was leading an immoral life. In that broken condition, she came to the well to fetch water.
And there sat Jesus, resting by the well. She didn’t know it, but she was about to meet God Almighty. Jesus knew her heart. He knew every detail of her life, and He took pity on her. He spoke to her words of comfort and compassion. She heard the voice of God Almighty, and she was completely transformed. She accepted Jesus as her Saviour. And not only that, she ran to tell others about Him. Yes, that same God can redeem your life, too. The Lord can give you a new life, a Christ-filled life, a life free from sin.
You may be wondering, “How can this happen?” My friend, the Word of God, can change your life. Jesus spoke to the woman at the well, a sinner, and after that, she boldly shared about Him with others. And that same transformation can happen to you right now. Just look unto the Lord. He gave His life for you on the cross. Cling to Him. Cry out to Him, saying, “Lord, forgive me. Forgive all my sins. Give me a new life. Cleanse me with your precious blood.” Right now, cry like that to the Lord. And just as the Samaritan woman received new life, you too are going to receive the same blessing today.
PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You just as I am, broken and needing You. Please forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus. Redeem my life from destruction and crown me with Your mercy. Just like the Samaritan woman, transform me completely. Fill my heart with Your love and truth. Renew my spirit like the eagle and help me cling to You and never let go. Let my life be a testimony of Your grace. Thank You for giving me a new, Christ-filled life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
