My precious child of God, I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Today’s promise comes from Joshua 1:9, which says, “The Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” The full verse goes like this: “Do not be afraid nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” 

Do you have this hope? Can you truly say, “The Lord is with me wherever I go”? He comes with me. He walks with me. Jesus Himself said in John 10:30, “I and My Father are one.” And in John 8:16, He says, “I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent Me.”  What a powerful hope He had! “I and My Father are one.”

You must have this same hope in your life, too. Can you boldly say, “I am not alone. Jesus is with me all the time”? In I John 1:3, the Word says, “Truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.” What a great hope we have! God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, the true and living God, with us all the time.

My friend, do you have this hope in your life? When you hold on to this hope, the Lord will be with you always. He will do everything for you. I am 86 years old. And all these years, He has been with me. He has done everything for me in such a beautiful way. So don’t be worried. Just cling on to this God. Would you commit your life to Him, even now?

PRAYER: 
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your promise to be with me wherever I go. When fear surrounds me, remind me that You are walking beside me. Jesus, I believe that I am never alone, for You are always near. Please help me to trust in Your presence and power every day. Fill my heart with the hope that comes from knowing You. Let my fellowship with You grow deeper each moment. Surround me with Your peace and guide my every step. Let me always cling to You, my ever faithful Lord.  In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
