My beloved child of God, I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! In Proverbs 4:20–22, the Lord says, "My son, give attention to My words; incline your ear to My sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh."
Yes, my beloved child of God, reading God’s Word every day is a must. Do you know why? In Deuteronomy 8:3, Matthew 4:4, and Luke 4:4, the Scripture clearly says, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God." And in Psalm 119:105, it says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." God’s Word doesn’t just give light and direction. It gives joy and wisdom, too. As Psalm 119:92 says, "Your word had been my delight." And in Psalm 119:99, "I am filled with wisdom more than my teachers," — why? Because the more I meditate on it, the more I grow in understanding.
Let me quote one more beautiful verse from Psalm 119:107. It says, "In your affliction, the Word of God revives you." Yes! Oh, how the Word of God brings revival to your soul, mind, and body. So, how important is it to read God’s Word every single day, my beloved friend? It brings health, peace, wisdom, and joy. Now, check up your life. Do you have your own Bible? How much time do you spend reading the Word of God each day? The Lord is watching you.
If you are reading the Word of God daily, the Lord will bless you abundantly, and what a blessed life you will live! And if you haven’t started yet, just begin today. Let this be the day you turn a new page. From today onward, may you receive good health, peace, and the joy of the Lord through His living Word.
PRAYER:
Gracious and loving Father, I thank You for the gift of Your Word, which is alive, powerful and active. Today, I open my heart and incline my ears to Your voice. Help me to hide Your words deep in my heart. Lord, I do not want to live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from You. Let Your Word be the lamp to my feet and the light to my path. Let it guide me, strengthen me, and fill me with joy. Let Your Word bring healing to my body, peace to my mind, and wisdom to my spirit. Lord, please give me the discipline and hunger to read Your Word every day. Make my life fruitful and blessed through it. Thank You for the treasure of Scripture. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
