My dear friend, today expect the best from the Lord. God is here to take you into a birth of miracles. That’s how He comforts you, speaks to you, and shows Himself. In Isaiah 60:22, He promises you today, "The least of you will become a thousand." Today, you might feel like the least where you are. Maybe you're shy, unable to come out and show yourself to people. Maybe you're afraid because of the shame you've endured. You've lost all your confidence. Or perhaps someone is bullying you, people are threatening you, and so you’ve hidden yourself. Or maybe others are underestimating you, saying you have nothing to show. Yes, you may be a little one today, the least today, but that is exactly who the Lord chooses. He chooses the least to become a thousand, to reveal His extraordinary power and what He is able to do.
If God were to bless someone who already has thousands, the world wouldn’t be amazed. But when He raises up someone who was small, unnoticed, and underestimated, that’s when the world sees His glory. There was a young little boy who came to hear Jesus on the mountain. When Jesus asked, “Is there any food to give these thousands of people who have come to listen to Me?” It was this little boy who brought the few loaves and fish he had. What happened that day? Jesus received him, blessed what he had, and made a miracle happen through him. His small offering not only fed himself, but it also fed thousands, as Jesus multiplied it. That day, people would have recognised and appreciated this little boy, knowing that he was used by Jesus.
That’s exactly how the Lord works in our lives. So don’t worry that you’re a little one today. As the Lord performs miracles and wonders in and through your life, you will be seen as a thousand. Would you claim this promise now?
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, today, I come before You just as I am, feeling small, broken and afraid. But Your Word says, “The least of you will become a thousand,” and I believe this promise is for me. Though I may feel hidden now, You see me, Lord. Though I may feel unworthy now, You have chosen me. Lord, take what little I have, my talents, my voice, my heart and multiply it for Your glory. Just as You used a little boy’s lunch to feed thousands, use my life as a vessel for miracles. Help me not to shrink back in shame or fear, but to walk boldly in Your love and higher calling. Let this day be a birth of miracles, a day when You turn my "least" into abundance. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
