My dear friend, it’s a joy to connect with you today. Today, let’s expect the showers of blessing that the Lord has promised us this year. His promise comes as per Psalm 3:3, “But You, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.” I was watching a video, and it reminded me of a superhero. His extraordinary power was to take in all the hits that the enemy gave him. His power was to get hit. They were throwing punches… throwing various powers at him. But suddenly, a force field came around this superhero. It absorbed everything the enemies threw at him. Then, it multiplied it and hurled it right back at them. The enemies couldn’t handle what came at them. They were fully destroyed.
That, dear friend, is how the Lord operates in our lives, too. He shields you with His grace. Nothing of the enemy can destroy your life. He has already taken everything upon Himself. And instead of destruction, His glory comes to you. For all that you are facing, you will receive glory in the end. So many blessings! The glory of the Lord rises upon you. He lifts your head high. So don’t be afraid of the suffering you are going through right now.
You may be hit, just like that superhero. But for every hit you take, God is going to give you great blessings and great glory. That’s exactly what Paul says in Romans 8 that as we share in His sufferings, we also share in His great glory. Are you saying you’re not receiving what you’ve been praying for? That you’re only going through more suffering? Rejoice in those sufferings, because for everything you’re enduring, the Lord will remember and give you greater glory in your life. It’s coming. Be patient. Trust Him. The Lord has already heard your prayer. He’s giving you a glorious future. Sometimes, miracles happen immediately. Deliverance comes at once. But sometimes, we must rejoice in the sufferings we endure now, knowing that a greater glory is waiting. Would you rejoice and commit your life to the Lord one more time?
PRAYER:
Loving Lord, I come before You today, holding onto Your promise that You are my shield, my glory, and the One who lifts my head high. When my life is surrounded by suffering, remind me that nothing the enemy sends can destroy me. You have already taken every burden upon Yourself, and in return, You clothe me with Your glory and grace. Please strengthen my heart in seasons of waiting. Teach me to trust You, to be patient, and to see suffering not as defeat, but as the setup for a divine victory. I surrender my life again into Your loving hands. Let my head be lifted high not by my own strength, but by Your presence and purpose in my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
