My dear friend, today is a wonderful day in the Lord’s. Don’t lose hope. Let us see God’s blessing from Isaiah 9:6, “His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace.” This is said about the name of Jesus. Truly, when Jesus comes, everything becomes wonderful in our hearts. We feel His comforting and joyous presence. He becomes so wonderful to us, counselling and guiding us in the right way in which He has made us. He is a mighty God doing wonders in our lives that we cannot even imagine. He is an everlasting Father who carries us and gives us all that we need in this world, and everlasting, in the sense, in heaven also. He gives us heaven, too. He is the Prince of Peace, bringing great peace and satisfaction into our lives.

This is how He led the disciples, right from when He called His disciples and chose them to following Him. Every day of their lives, they saw how Jesus could be in their lives. We are also so jealous of that, aren’t we? We imagine how wonderful it would be if Jesus could walk with us like that every day. He was so wonderful to them that they left what they were doing and just followed Him. They felt that a true meaning had come into their lives, and they felt so bold when Jesus was there with them.

He was counselling them and teaching them so many things. He was a mighty God, doing miracles for them and through them also. He was an everlasting Father, providing for all their needs, and He was a Prince of Peace, calming the storm before their very eyes. This is how He will be in every situation of your life, too. You are His disciple. Just follow Him and receive His goodness in your life right now. 

PRAYER: 
Loving Lord Jesus, what would I do without You? You are so wonderful. Now let me receive Your wonderful presence, O Lord, and Your joy of salvation. Let me become so bold because You are with me. Thank You, Lord, for Your boldness is rising up in my heart, driving away all my fears and concerns, driving away all my doubts, Lord. Thank You, Lord, for You have become my Counsellor. Please guide me in my heart as to what I should do, which path I should take, which decision I should make, and what my life’s purpose is. Please show me which job to choose, and open up all the great paths for me, and bless me in it, Master. Provide everything I need as my Everlasting Father. Care for my needs, Lord, and let me be blessed. Bless me with Your peace. Please heal my broken heart, and in all my problems, command Your peace upon my heart, my family and in every part of my life. I receive You, Lord, In Jesus’ precious name, I pray, Amen.
