The Shepherd Who Restores

My precious friend, this month, the Lord promises us from Deuteronomy 30:3, “The Lord your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where He scattered you.” The same God who restored Naomi, rebuilt her life, and blessed her beyond what she had lost is still able to restore us today. (Ruth 1:20–21 & 4:13–17). Everything that has gone away or stolen in our lives will be restored by the Lord.   

The Lord will gather us again: There is no place too far, no situation too difficult, and no loss too great for the Lord to restore.  He longs to gather us under His wings, protect us, comfort us, and give us rest. The very place where we experienced rejection will become the place where God honours us. (Isaiah 11:12, Jeremiah 29:14, Zephaniah 3:19 & Ezekiel 11:17)    

Why is The Lord restoring us? The answer is simple. Jesus said, “I am the Good Shepherd.” Yes, He laid down His life for us on the cross, shed His precious blood not only to forgive our sins, but also to bring us into His fold and keep us close to His heart. (Ezekiel 34:13 & Matthew 9:35–36)  

Our Good Shepherd is calling us: No matter how far we have drifted, Jesus is calling us back. He is ready to forgive, cleanse us with His blood, and receive us as His own child. (Luke 13:34) 

He will restore our family and our future: When we trust the Lord and place our faith in Him, His saving grace can touch our household as well. God is able to gather our family members to Himself and transform them as His children. (Acts 16:31 & Psalm 23) 

‘The prodigal son lost everything because of sin, but when he returned, his father welcomed him with love, restored him to sonship, and celebrated his return.’ 

From Shame to Honour: People may call us broken or deserted but the Lord says, ‘I call you Hephzibah. I delight in you.’ Yes, the Lord will turn our shame into honour as He rebuilds every broken area of our life. He will restore our family life and make us whole again. (Isaiah 62:4) 

My loving Heavenly Father, let every scattered heart and broken family be restored by Your mighty hand. Restore their job, rebuild their career, revive their calling, their family and honour them once again. Lord, be their Shepherd, lead them into peace, into abundant blessings and establish them in greater honor than before. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Bethesda Blessing Meeting on July 11th, where more than 6,000 people from across India gathered at Bethesda Prayer Centre to experience His presence and miraculous power. In addition, more than 40,000 people joined the meeting through Live Social Media aired in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Through the Holy Spirit, God revealed to Dr. Paul Dhinakaran the names of the people, their needs and problems and we witnessed many powerful testimonies, revealing God’s power in many lives. We witnessed many miraculous testimonies including one where ‘Ms. Kalavathi was amazingly healed from blood Vomit issues’. This revealed God’s power and faithfulness in many lives

On July 5, Bro. Samuel Dhinakaran ministered in the Blessing Meeting conducted at  Anna Nagar Prayer Tower, Chennai and also on July 12th at the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower, Avinashi, Coimbatore, where God's Word brought strength and encouragement to all who gathered.   • 2902 meetings were conducted in the Prayer Towers where 99,610 people participated and received God’s Word and His abundant blessings.
  • 1.38 lakh people experienced God's love and encouragement through the Jesus Calls Website and Mobile app.
  • Our social media platforms reached over 3.02 crore people with the message of Christ's love and our Jesus Calls magazines.
  • E-magazines continue to inspire readers reaching nearly 3 lakh people with the message of hope and God’s unfailing love.

 


KARUNYA UNIVERSITY
(Transforming lives through Christ-centred education) 

  • Karunya hosted its 33rd Convocation on July 4, with Hon'ble Chancellor Dr. Paul Dhinakaran conferring degrees upon over 2,000 graduates.
  • Karunya faculty are pioneering sustainable biomanufacturing using Direct Air Carbon Capture Technology (DACT) through a ₹65.23 lakh research grant awarded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India.
  • Karunya faculty filed six patents in emerging areas, including Artificial Intelligence, renewable energy, aerospace technologies, advanced materials, healthcare, and food safety, transforming research into impactful intellectual property.
  • Karunya faculty are promoting sustainable livelihoods by deploying a heat pipe-assisted hybrid solar drying system for agricultural products in Vellapathy village, benefiting 45 tribal families.
  • Karunya staff, faculty and students empowered 30 inmates at the Central Prison, Coimbatore, with practical electrical servicing skills, enhancing their employability and supporting their successful reintegration into society.

 

SEESHA
(Spreading joy and building brighter futures)

  • SEESHA continued to expand access to quality education across South India; inaugurated four new Learning Centres in Cuddalore, Pudukkottai, and Thiruvallur districts and five new Learning Centres were inaugurated in North India across the Lodhma and Sungi Panchayats of Khunti District aimed at unlocking new academic opportunities for children from underserved communities.
  • SEESHA has supported 322 differently abled beneficiaries across India including 92 in South India and 230 in North India. The support provided includes -school kits, new clothes, assistive devices, food aid, petty shop/livelihood assistance, and medical support.
  • New tailoring training batches were launched at SEESHA's Cuddalore, Adyar, Parrys, Mumbai, and in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. These new batches will benefit nearly 100 women trainees from disadvantaged family backgrounds, equipping them with skills to enter the job market and become economically empowered.
