My dear friend, today is a day of reaping. You are going to reap the best blessing that God has for you. Just look at Proverbs 11:18. The Bible says, "A wicked person earns deceptive wages, but the one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward." There was a person who was always running around, talking to people, and not doing his work properly in the office. But in front of his boss, he would act like he was doing the best job. Now, in that same office, there was another person who worked very hard, minding his own business. But the first person kept speaking all sorts of bad things and false reports about him to the boss. As a result, the boss developed a bad perception of the good worker.
While constantly complaining about many things in the office, this deceitful person convinced the boss that he was the one doing all the good work. So, the boss gave him higher wages and a higher position. He would cozy up to the boss and even show other people’s work as his own. The boss, impressed, placed him at the top. But the truth always finds its way out. He couldn’t maintain all those lies. One came to light, and upon enquiry, they discovered all the negative reports and wicked acts. The boss was furious and fired him on the spot. Then, the boss realised that the quiet, hardworking person was the one who had been true all along. He gave him the same position and salary; instantaneously, he was elevated.
Yes, my friend, this verse is so true: "A wicked person earns deceptive wages." It might seem like they're rising, but it's not permanent. It’s very deceptive. They’re on shaky ground. But the one who sows righteousness, who does things right before man and God, reaps a sure reward. A reward with a strong foundation. That blessing from God will never be taken away. I know you’re waiting for your blessing, because you’ve sown in righteousness. You will receive it.
PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise in Your Word that says those who sow righteousness will reap a sure reward. I choose today to walk in truth, to work with integrity, and to honour You in all I do. Even when results seem delayed, help me to stay faithful, believing that You see every effort and every seed sown. Protect my heart from envy when others seem to prosper through wrong ways. Let me not be discouraged, for Your timing is perfect, and Your reward is certain. Plant my life on the firm foundation of Your Word, and let my harvest be rich, lasting, and filled with Your favour. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
