My precious child of God, I greet you in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today, we are going to meditate on Joel 2:28. It says, “I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy.” Friend, if you have the power of God, the Spirit of God in your life, you will be a different person. Your life will be a divine one. In Acts 10:38, the Lord Jesus Himself received the power of God. That’s why whatever He did was powerful. In the same way, God will also change your life.

See the life of Peter. He was chosen by the Lord as His disciple, and all the time Peter was with Jesus, hearing all the messages given by Him. However, in spite of this, when Jesus was going to be arrested, he was out because he was filled with fear of men. If you read Luke 22:56-61, he denied Jesus three times. But when Jesus resurrected from the dead, He told His disciples about the power of God and the ways in which they had to wait at the feet of the Lord to receive it. Acts chapter 1 speaks about this, and in Acts 1:14, we see that all the people who were with Jesus were staying together and praying for this divine experience to happen. At that time, the same Peter who denied Jesus three times also received the power of God.

He was filled with the power of God, with the strength of the Holy Spirit, and started doing the ministry just like Jesus. In our family also, we never knew anything about the filling of the Holy Spirit. We were just going to church, that’s all. But God taught us how to receive the Word, how to receive the power of God, and He filled each one of us with His power. Till now, He has been using us mightily for His glory. Friend, it is so beautiful to work for the Lord as a family. Today, the Lord is going to bless you in the same way. If you believe, you shall see the glory of God!

PRAYER: 
Dear Lord, thank You for Your powerful promise to pour out Your Holy Spirit on me. You are the Anointed One. So, fill me with Your power and Your presence. Remove every fear and anxious thought from my heart and make me bold in faith. Teach me to wait at Your feet daily in prayer. Transform my life just as You transformed the life of Peter. Lord, please use my life and my family for Your glory. Let me live a life that reflects Your greatness to the world. In Your precious name, Jesus, I pray. Amen.
