My precious children of God, I greet each one of you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Today, the promise verse is given to us from Proverbs 9:10–11: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For by Me your days will be multiplied, and years of life will be added to you.”
Yes, my friends, see how great our Lord Jesus Christ is! The more you fear the Lord, the more He blesses your life according to His promise by adding to your days. The fear of the Lord is not merely being afraid of God; it is living with deep reverence, honoring Him, obeying His Word, and walking according to His will. Such a life attracts God's wisdom, favor, and long life. We must teach our children to fear the Lord from a very young age. When they grow up with reverence for God, they will have a firm spiritual foundation that will guide them throughout their lives.
One day, when I was a young girl, my pastor shared with me the verse from Proverbs 31:30: “Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.” That verse deeply touched my heart and became a guiding principle in my life. I learned not to depend on outward charm or passing beauty, but to cultivate a heart that fears the Lord. Such a life receives lasting honor from God. Look at Abraham, the man of God. He had great fear and reverence for the Lord. Whatever God commanded, Abraham obeyed without hesitation. Because of his faithful obedience and fear of God, he lived to a good old age and fulfilled God's purpose for his life. His life reminds us that walking in God's ways brings His blessings upon us.
Today, let us examine our own lives. Whether you are a little boy, a little girl, a young person, or an elderly individual, every one of us is called to fear the Lord. In our words, our actions, our decisions, and our daily conduct, we must always remember that God is watching us. The Holy Spirit constantly teaches and guides us, and we must willingly obey His voice. When we live with the fear of God, He fulfills His promise by multiplying our days and adding years to our lives so that we may continue to glorify Him on this earth. May the Lord help each one of us to walk in His fear and enjoy the blessings He has promised.
PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding me that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and that You add years of life to those who walk in Your ways. Teach me to live with reverence, humility, and wholehearted obedience to You every day. Help me never to depend on outward beauty, worldly success, or human strength, but to trust completely in You. Let the Holy Spirit guide my words, thoughts, and actions so that I may honor You in everything I do. Bless my family and my children with the fear of the Lord from their young age. Turn everyone who has wandered away back to You and forgive every sin. Multiply our days according to Your promise, fill our lives with Your wisdom, and let us live long to glorify Your holy name. In Jesus' mighty name, I pray. Amen.
