My dear ones! Today's promise is from Psalm 121:3: “He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.” The Lord watches over you constantly. He does not want you to stumble, fall, be humiliated or destroyed by the enemy. This reflects His loving heart towards you. His love is greater than a mother's love, and He desires you to remain strong and steadfast.

Psalm 46:4–5 says that there is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy dwelling place of the Most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved. He will help her at the break of dawn. My dear one, you are God's dwelling place. He will establish you firmly, and nothing shall shake you. The Lord promises to sustain you. Therefore, be courageous! There are times when our feet slip and we struggle to stand. I remember an incident from my childhood. When my grandfather, father, mother, my sister Angel and I were young, we went to Kashmir. At Pahalgam, we were taken on horseback to a high peak. The mountain path was narrow and winding, with a deep valley on one side. A fall could have been fatal. We all mounted our horses, and my father was riding behind me. He asked the horse rider, “Sir, what will happen if the horse slips and falls?” The man confidently replied, “Don't worry. I am with you. Trust me and ride the horse.” Just as my father had feared, his horse suddenly lost its footing on the narrow path and was about to fall. We could do nothing but cry out in fear. However, the horse rider immediately caught hold of the horse and steadied it. The animal regained its balance, and my father was saved.

Psalm 94:18 beautifully describes this sustaining grace: “When I said, ‘My foot is slipping,’ Your mercy, O Lord, held me up.” If a horse rider could save a slipping horse at the right moment, how much more can our Lord's infinite grace and boundless mercy uphold us through every difficulty! Our feet may slip because of jealousy, deep sorrow, prolonged illness, unexpected loss, anxiety or financial struggles. We may also experience betrayal, false accusations, spiritual battles and temptations. Such situations can sometimes leave us feeling helpless and discouraged.

Yet, whenever we cry out, “Lord, my foot is slipping,” His unfailing mercy comes to our rescue. He strengthens us and carries us through every trial. Psalm 94:19 says, “In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.” Consider Jonah. He disobeyed God and made a wrong choice, but the Lord did not abandon him. He sent a great fish to preserve Jonah's life. Even in the depths of the sea, God watched over him and brought him safely out. Jonah then obeyed the Lord's command and proclaimed His message. As a result, the people of Nineveh turned to God, received His mercy and were saved from destruction.

My dear one, the Lord can do the same for you! Even if you have made mistakes, His grace can restore you and help you fulfil His calling. The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable (Romans 11:29). Are you struggling to stand firm today? His grace is available to uphold you. Pray and put your trust in Him. He will protect you, strengthen you and restore your steps. The Lord will enable you to rise with honour before others, fulfil His divine purpose and become a blessing to nations, families, society, and the people in your workplace and place of study.

PRAYER:
Loving Heavenly Father, I come into Your presence, seeking Your abundant grace. Pour out Your grace upon me as I face the struggles of life. Bless me and grant me the full reward of Your promises. Let Your mercy uphold me whenever my feet are slipping. Establish my feet firmly so that I may rise again and stand strong. Deliver me from every trouble, strengthen me in my weakness and help me fulfil Your divine calling. Grant me the grace to become a light to my nation and a blessing to millions of families. I pray with reverence in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
