This month, receive this promise from God: “My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). Our God is a loving Father who provides. James 1:17 reminds us that every good and perfect gift comes from Him. He gives not out of lack, but according to His riches. He is generous and kind, and He loves to bless His children. Do not let your heart be troubled. In Matthew 7:11, Jesus says that if earthly parents know how to give good gifts, how much more will your Heavenly Father give good things to those who ask Him. He delights in giving us His best. He not only gives us material blessings, but also the greatest gift of all — the Holy Spirit. In John 3:34, we see that Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit without limit. The same Spirit is available to you today. Luke 11:13 says your Heavenly Father will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask. Jesus also says in John 7:37 to 39 that if anyone is thirsty, let them come to Him and drink, and rivers of living water will flow from within them. That river is the Holy Spirit. Today, God wants to fill you in a fresh and powerful way.
When I was 18, in the year 1980, Jesus changed my life. I cried out to Him, “Lord, I have no strength to live a holy life.” As Romans 8:26 says, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. One night, I prayed all night long. In the morning, joy overflowed in me. I was shaking and filled with the presence of God. I began to speak in new tongues as the Holy Spirit took over. My heart became the temple of God. Since that day, the Holy Spirit has been my closest friend, guiding me every day. You, too, can receive this joy. God is ready to fill you and provide for you.
God also gives seed to the sower and brings a rich harvest. He gives life. In John 11:25, Jesus says, “I am the resurrection and the life.” Even if you feel lifeless or stuck in sin, He will raise you up to walk in holiness. John 10:10 says Jesus came to give us life in abundance. Nothing in this world can destroy you when you walk closely with Him. How do we receive from God’s abundance? Jesus said in Luke 6:38, “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.” When you give, especially during your own time of need, God will cause others to bless you in return. Malachi 3:10 says to bring your tithes to Him, and He will open the windows of heaven. Proverbs 3:9 teaches us to honour the Lord with our wealth and our firstfruits, and increase will come. Giving ten percent of your income to God is a principle of blessing. You may not see God in person, but you can give to His ministry that comforts, heals, and saves souls. These ministries depend on God, and He multiplies what is given. Like Peter, who gave his boat to Jesus and received a great catch of fish in return, God blesses those who give to His work.
Here is a true testimony. Sis. Lata Balan Acharya and her husband lived in deep poverty in Mumbai. One day, they came to a Jesus Calls Prayer Tower and felt God’s love. She gave just a few coins, and a word from the stage caught her eye — “Your sorrow will turn into joy.” Soon, her husband got a better job, and their daughter scored 99 percent in her exams. They gave faithfully to the Jesus Calls Ministry, and God increased their income, gave them a house and a car, and restored their honour. Yes, God will do it for you. Give, and it will be given. Trust Him, and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.
PRAYER:
Loving Heavenly Father, thank You for being my perfect Provider. You promise to supply all my needs through Christ Jesus. Fill me now with Your Holy Spirit, without measure. Let Your rivers of living water flow within me. Help me to trust in Your abundance, and not my lack. Teach me to give cheerfully, even in times of need. Open the windows of heaven and pour out Your rich blessings upon me. Lord, let me walk in holiness and receive Your abundant life. Lead me to honour You with all that I have. Thank You for being faithful in my life to bless and provide. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
