My precious child of God, I greet you in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today, we are going to meditate on Matthew 1:21, which says, “She will bear a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, and He will save His people from their sins.” Yes, my friend, Jesus came into this world as our Saviour. He saves us from all kinds of unwanted qualities of this world. Every day we face many problems, yet just as Moses and the Israelites had to cross through many trials, the Lord helped them. In Exodus 15:2 and Psalm 118:13-14, we read, “You pushed me violently that I might fall, but the Lord helped me. He became my salvation. The Lord is my strength and defence, and He has become my salvation.” Truly, He is our Saviour, and He is able to save us from all our troubles and from our sinful lives.

You need to have Him all the time as your Saviour. Have the practice of looking unto Him to be saved from all your struggles and troubles. In Luke 5:4, the Lord said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” Simon answered, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless, at Your word, I will let down the net.” And in the next verse, the Lord did a miracle. When they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. When you have the Lord with you as your Saviour, you will be blessed with all kinds of blessings.

When you read the Word of God and obey His voice, you will be saved from all kinds of problems. Yes, Jesus is our Saviour, and we must have Him with us at all times. When we do, we will be covered with His blessings. Right now, recommit your life to the Lord and invite Him to be with you always. He will not only be with you and guide you but will also bless you abundantly.

PRAYER: 
Dear Lord Jesus, my precious Saviour, I thank You for coming into this world to save me from my sins. You are my strength, my defence, and my salvation. You lift me up with Your mighty hand, and You teach me to trust in Your Word and obey Your voice at all times. Just as You blessed Simon with a great catch, bless the work of my hands. Help me to walk daily in Your presence and live as a witness to Your love. I recommit my life to You, Lord. Please be my guide, my refuge, and my joy forever. In Your precious name, Jesus, I pray. Amen.
