My precious friend, Jesus wants to give you healing and forgiveness. Yes, Jesus has already paid the price for both. Jesus is God who came in human flesh. He took the form of a man so that He could bring the power of healing and the power of forgiveness into our lives. Therefore, there is hope in Jesus for you to be forgiven and healed. Come to Jesus today. Isaiah 53:5 declares, “He was pierced for our transgressions.” Every time we commit sin, it pierces our lives. Sin wounds our soul, our mind, and even our body. People who continually indulge in destructive habits often experience the painful consequences in their physical and emotional health. Those who live in sinful ways carry guilt, fear, and unrest in their hearts. Sin always pierces.
In Genesis 3:6, Eve ate the forbidden fruit, and sin pierced her life. She then gave it to Adam, and he also disobeyed God. As a result, they lost the glory of God. In 2 Samuel 11, David lusted after Bathsheba and arranged for her husband to be killed. Sin pierced that family deeply. Later, David cried out in Psalm 51, asking God to cleanse him and not take His Holy Spirit away from him. God heard his prayer and forgave him, but the consequences of sin continued to affect his family. One tragedy followed another among his children.
My dear friend, this should not happen in your family. Sin pierces us, but Jesus was pierced so that we could receive forgiveness. When we confess our sins and ask for forgiveness in His name, the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from every sin. Because Jesus was pierced, we can be set free from our transgressions and receive power to live a transformed life.
Secondly, Jesus was crushed for our iniquities. Revelation 2:14 and 2 Peter 2:15 speak about Balaam, who led the Israelites into sin so that God's favor would depart from them. Eventually, Balaam himself was crushed. In the same way, when people become the cause of others falling into sin, darkness and spiritual oppression can enter their lives. On the cross, Jesus was crushed for us. Darkness surrounded Him, and He cried out, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” He bore the crushing weight of sin and separation so that we could be delivered from every power of darkness. If you have been the cause of others stumbling, or if darkness has entered your life because of sin, come to Jesus today. Ask for His forgiveness. He will deliver you and fill your life with His light and peace.
Thirdly, Jesus was wounded for our sicknesses. In Matthew 17:14-15, a father came to Jesus crying for mercy because his son was tormented by an evil spirit that threw him into fire and water. Jesus rebuked the spirit, and the boy was healed. Throughout His ministry, Jesus healed the sick and delivered the oppressed. Ultimately, He took our sicknesses upon Himself on the cross.
Today, when we call upon the name of Jesus, He stretches out His nail-pierced hands toward us. He forgives our sins, removes our iniquities, and heals our diseases. Whatever burden you carry today, bring it to Jesus. He is ready to forgive, restore, deliver, and heal you completely. May you receive His blessing and experience His transforming power in your life today.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, I come before You with a humble heart, seeking Your forgiveness, healing, and restoration. Thank You for being pierced for my transgressions, crushed for my iniquities, and wounded for my healing. Cleanse me from every sin through Your precious blood and give me the strength to walk in righteousness. Remove every burden, guilt, fear, and darkness from my life. Let Your healing touch rest upon my body, mind, and soul. Deliver me from every evil power and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Help me to live a life that honors You and brings glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
