My friend, the Lord Almighty, says in Exodus 15:26, “I am the Lord, who heals you.” God has the power and the heart to heal all diseases. This is what the Bible says in Psalm 103:2 & 3: “Praise the Lord my soul, forget not His benefits, because He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.” Yes, the Almighty God has the heart to forgive your sins and to heal your diseases. Man has no power to forgive another person’s sins. They may forgive somebody for the wrong they have done towards him, but they cannot take out the root of sin from that person. When God forgives, all the sins and the nature of sin are removed from that person. When God heals the disease, the root of the disease is removed by the power of God. It is God who heals, it is God who forgives. That’s why we pray to God. We have the Prayer Centre in Bethesda. During the May season, also, during the holidays, you can come to Bethesda and pray for God to forgive, for God to heal, for God to provide. And the Lord has said, “they shall lay hands on the sick and the sick shall recover”, according to James 5:14 & 15. And the Lord Jesus Himself has said in Mark 16:17, “They shall lay hands on the sick and the sick shall recover if they believe in My name.”

Yes, Jesus wants you and me to lay hands on the sick people and pray in the name of Jesus for them to be healed, for them to recover. Yes, this is God’s edict, and that’s what we do for the people. Man may not be able to believe this. They can believe only if they become the child of Jesus. Otherwise, they cannot believe. They cannot have this blessing also. What a privilege we have as we are the children of Jesus. This is what the Bible says. So, let’s hold on to the word of God and to Jesus and believe Jesus that He would come when we lay hands on the people, and He would lay hands and heal us. It is He who does the miracle. God has a heart to heal the diseases of the people because the diseases have come because of the sins of the people. Not everyone who has a disease is a sinner. Disease comes through natural causes. Disease also comes because of sins. If somebody smokes and smokes, their lungs get damaged. That’s what the doctors say. If somebody keeps drinking and drinking, their liver gets damaged. This is what the medical science says. And so, sin or wrong things done against the body bring sickness.

Also, demon powers bring sickness. That’s what we see in the life of the lady who was demon-possessed for 18 years, who was bent together because of the power of satan. Jesus touched and delivered her. So, sickness comes because of the demon power. Sickness comes because of witchcraft. Sickness comes because of disobedience. Yes, there are many reasons, but if one turns to Jesus, because He has paid the price for everyone to be healed. He allowed His body to be wounded on the cross so that, according to the Bible in Isaiah 53:5, “By the stripes, by the wounds of Jesus, we are healed”. Jesus allowed wounds to come into His body so that through those wounds, today He may heal us. Matthew 8:17 says so. Today, you can come to Jesus for the healing of your soul and then for the healing of your body. In Jeremiah 8:22, God cries, “Is there no physician in Gilead? Why is there no healing for the wounds of my people?” And in Matthew 9:35–36, when Jesus saw the multitudes of people, He was moved with compassion, and when people stayed with Him for three days, He healed them all. Luke 4:40 says, “He laid His hands on everyone and healed them”. That’s the heart of Jesus for you always.

PRAYER: 
Father God, I thank You that You are my Healer. Please forgive all my sins and cleanse me from within. Touch every part of my body and bring complete healing. Remove every root of sickness by Your power. Lord Jesus, let Your healing presence flow into me now. Strengthen me in my body, mind, and spirit. Restore everything that is broken in my life. Fill me with faith to believe in Your supernatural miracles. Let Your compassion bring wholeness to me today. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray, Amen.
