Today is the day when my father, Bro. D.G.S. Dhinakaran found the Lord. He surrendered his life to Jesus and received His forgiveness for all the sins that he had committed, and my father became a new creation in Christ. Since then, how many millions have found the Lord and have been transformed through his ministry! My precious friend, shall we dedicate ourselves once again to be God’s temple, to carry Him in us? Let us become His temple, holy and acceptable to Him. God will bless us and make us a blessing, too. Today’s promise is from Romans 8:28, which says, “In all things God works for the good of those who love Him and who are called according to His purpose.” I know you love the Lord, you have given your life to Jesus, and I pray today that all things will work unto good in your life.

What is the good that comes to us when we love Jesus and walk according to His purpose? Firstly, God turns whatever evil people do to us into good in our lives. Genesis 50:19–20 speaks about Joseph, who was sold as a slave by his brothers because they were jealous of his blessing, and they told their father that he had been killed by a wild animal. Though they lost touch with him, God was with Joseph because Joseph loved the Lord and had received the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Even in another country, sold as a slave to a chieftain in Egypt, at the right time God raised him up because of his love for the Lord and because he was called according to God’s purpose to save humanity. Likewise, God has a purpose for your life, and just like Joseph, you have been called to save humanity. In the midst of famine, natural calamities, jealousy, and wicked words, God’s goodness will follow you to fulfill His purpose in your life.

Joseph surrendered to the purpose of God and even had to go to jail, though he committed no sin, but God brought him out and made his brothers fall at his feet and beg for food. God will turn everything into good in your life, and you will have great honour and peace, so let not your heart be troubled. Secondly, God turns all the evil in your life into good so that you receive the power to forgive others. When Joseph was betrayed and wrongfully condemned by his brothers and by the chieftain, God gave him the heart to forgive. He gave them land to live, lands to graze their sheep and cattle, sustained their families, and protected and honoured them. The Bible says in Philippians 2 that though Jesus was in the very nature of God, He humbled Himself, forgave sins, and God raised Him up with a name above every name. At the name of Jesus, every knee bows, in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. He has power over heaven and earth, power to forgive sins, and power to take us to heaven, just as He took the thief on the cross to heaven.

When we forgive others, God sends His Holy Spirit upon us, and when the Holy Spirit comes into us, we receive the power to forgive sins in the name of Jesus, and people are led to Jesus and to forgiveness. Thirdly, when we submit to God’s will, all things work unto good for us to receive the nature of Christ, the nature to heal sickness, weakness, and addictions of sin, and the same grace is given to us. In 1969, when my father’s lungs failed, and he was about to die, Jesus appeared to him and said that through agony and suffering, he would understand people’s pain and be moved with compassion, and through his tears, healing would come to the broken-hearted. Finally, all things work unto good to bring multiplication of blessings. When Jesus Calls, Karunya began, we were going into tremendous debt, nearly 25 years ago, and the Lord said, “Love the people,” meaning the servants of God. He said, “As you support them to build church buildings, conduct meetings, and sometimes pay their medical bills, I will bring you out of debt as they pray for you”. My friend, do not be afraid. God will multiply you when you care for His children and do good. Let the Holy Spirit come upon you mightily, and let all things work unto good.

PRAYER:
Lord, I surrender my life into Your loving hands. As You have promised, let everything work unto good in my life. Please grant me a forgiving heart and let Your holy nature be revealed in me. Heal the broken places within me and fill me with compassion for Your people. Let Your blessings multiply through my implicit obedience to You, and let me be Your holy temple that brings glory to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray, Amen.
