Dear friend, today the Lord says as in Hosea 14:4, “I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for my anger has turned away from them.” Nothing is impossible with God! The Lord can turn any situation. He can heal your waywardness. No one is holy in this world; all have turned away from God and lost the glory of God. But today the Lord is going to heal us from our waywardness. In Ezekiel 36:25, the Lord says, “I will sprinkle water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols.” Here, He says, “I will, I will, I will.” He does it out of love for you. Initially, He said, “I love you freely.” Because of His great love, He cleanses us.

So, like David, you also cry to God like this. As in Psalm 51:7, David said, “Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I’ll be whiter than snow.” Everybody wants this kind of cleansing, isn’t it? Peter, when Jesus washed the feet of the disciples, asked Him, “Lord, wash not only my feet but my hands and my head too.” We want complete cleansing, isn’t it? In Israel, people believe in ritual purification; Before entering into any home or their temple, they always wash their feet and their hands. God also loves to do that for you, my dear friend. He’s so faithful. As in I John 1:9, the Bible says, God is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. Yes, He’s so faithful to heal us from all our wickedness. That’s why the Lord says, “In the last days, I’ll pour out My Spirit upon all flesh.” The Bible also says in Daniel 12:10, “In the last days many will be purified, made spotless and refined”. But on the other hand, the wicked will continue to be wicked—none of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand. We should be wise and ask God for forgiveness.

After I got newly wedded, the Jesus Calls ministry had Power Ministry in the Karunya University for the Karunya students to be blessed. Many attended the Power Ministry, including the wayward children who were giving so much trouble in those days; some were involved in strikes also. But during that Power Ministry, when my father and my husband were ministering, during the prayer time, the Lord filled many students with the Holy Spirit. At that time, the power of God fell upon those who were giving trouble. As I was watching, they were getting filled by the Holy Spirit; they were literally thrown into a pit which was full of muddy water, rolling in it, yet overjoyed and full of the Holy Spirit. Then I knew that the Lord was cleansing them with the Holy Spirit. The same thing is going to happen to you, too. As you are crying out to God for Him to cleanse you with His power, He will do it.

PRAYER: 
Heavenly Father, I thank You for loving me freely, even in times of my weakness. Please cleanse me from every sin and every impurity, Lord. Wash me and make me whiter than snow. Remove every idol and every wrong desire from my heart. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and refine my life. Help me to walk in Your ways and be holy like You. Let Your love heal my waywardness and restore me completely. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray.  Amen.
