Dear friend, today God is speaking to us and commanding His life into us. As per I Peter 1:8, it says, "You believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy”. That’s a joy that is coming as we believe in the Lord Jesus. We experience it, don’t we? If you see some people, they’ll be hiding their treasures of money, looking for the best bank where it will be secure, and taking insurance even on that money, thinking, “Even if it gets stolen, I should have a guarantee,” and looking for the best security features to guard that money, doing everything to secure that treasure for themselves. So much effort, yet still they will have no peace over it.

But look at our life, because we put our belief in the Lord Jesus as our treasure, making Him our treasure, our hearts are full of joy because of knowing the truth. What is that truth? That Jesus, through Him, we become His children by His blood. We are washed away of our sins, and we become completely free in our lives. No guilt can keep us down.

And that He rose from the dead to give us life, eternal life, was also opened by what He did on the cross. That is the joy that we have in our hearts that there is nothing lacking for us in this world and in the next. Our life is so secure. That’s the inexpressible joy with which we keep on believing and living. Shall we praise God for this? This belief will completely fill our lives, not leaving any sorrow behind.

PRAYER: 
Loving Lord Jesus, I believe in You and receive Your overflowing joy into my heart. Be my greatest treasure, above everything I hold in this world. Thank You for washing away my sins and setting me completely free. Let no guilt or fear ever take hold of my life again. Help me to live each day in the joy of Your truth. Let this joy overflow in every situation I face. Teach me to trust You more and more. Thank You for eternal life through Your cross and resurrection. I praise You for the joy that never fades. Amen.
