My dear friend, happy Women’s Day to each and every woman out there. Today, the Lord promises from Jeremiah 29:13, “You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.” As women, we think of so many other things when we do something; our heart is filled with so many little, little things. They always say women are great at multitasking. Yes, it is a good thing, but today the Lord tells us to seek Him with all our hearts. Is our heart filled with other things other than God? Do we want to wear makeup and look good, and keep that as a priority more than God? Do we want to take care of our children and take care of our husband more than we look to God? Yes, all this is important. Looking good is important, taking care of our family and our career is important, but is it taking the place that God has to fill in our hearts? Let’s think about it, my dear friend. This is not only for women, but applies to all people.

When we give our entire heart to Jesus, He will take care of everything in our lives. I know it’s difficult; I have been through the same thing. When we sit down to pray, only then do we think of all the other things: Is my child eating properly? Will my husband come back safely from work? Will I be able to go back to work? How will I pay my rent on time? Will somebody come and attack us in the night? All that we think of only when we sit down to pray. But today the Lord asks us to ‘Be still and know that I am God’. Today, let’s try to be still and absorb the presence of God. When we do that, when we seek Him with all our heart, the Lord will grant all our wishes.

So, sit down at the corner of your room in a quiet place and first tell all your worries to the Lord. When we do that, the Lord will fill us with His peace, and we will be able to seek Him with all our hearts, and the Lord will take care of everything else in our lives, my dear friend. The only thing we have to do is seek Him with all our hearts. Today, if anything else is obstructing that, maybe your social media, maybe your friends on your phone, maybe your own family members who are preventing that from happening, place it before the Lord. My friend, the Lord will grant you all your wishes when you seek Him with all your heart. 

PRAYER: 
Dear Lord Jesus, I pray before You today. Lord, I have been filling my heart with other things, Father. I have been distracted by so many other things. Lord, I pray for Your presence to come upon me. Help me to fill my heart with You, only with You, Father, so that I will be able to seek You with all my heart and not be distracted. Lord, I ask that You would help me to remove all the things that are obstructing my walk with You, Father, even if it is my addictions to social media or to my phone, let that be removed from today. I pray that Your presence will fill that place in my heart. Help me to seek You with all my heart and live in Your peace. In Jesus’ name, I pray,  Amen.
