Dear brothers and sisters, today’s promise is from Judges 3:9: “When the Israelites cried out to the Lord, He raised up a deliverer to save them.” They had sinned against God and turned away from Him, following the ways of the people around them. Therefore, the Lord allowed their enemies to oppress them. When they cried out for help, He raised up Othniel, the brother of Caleb, to deliver them. Likewise, the Lord raised up other judges, including Ehud, Deborah, and Gideon, who performed mighty deeds and rescued the people of Israel.

When we face oppression and difficulties, we too must cry out to God. Job experienced great affliction and longed for someone who could intercede on his behalf. In Job 9:33, he said, “If only there were someone to mediate between us, someone to bring us together.” He desired someone who could stand between him and God and help him in his distress. When troubles overwhelm us, we may look for someone to help us. Ultimately, we must turn to Jesus, our true Deliverer. He can deliver us from sin, bondage, oppression, fear, and death. Whenever we cry out to Him, He hears our prayers and comes to our aid.

We witnessed such a miracle during this programme on October 2. A dear brother named Vishal Gekwad from Sangli, Maharashtra, had been suffering from a sore throat for a long time. He was earnestly praying and waiting for the Lord to heal him. On that day, while praying for the people, I prayed, “Lord, heal those who are suffering from throat problems.” From that moment, Vishal began to feel better and was completely healed. He held on to the Word of God and cried out to the Lord in faith.

My dear friend, you too can call upon the Lord today and pray, “Deliver me from this problem, O God. Heal me, Lord.” Today is your day of salvation and deliverance. Jesus is here to help you.

Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father, You are my true Deliverer. Bring Your children out of every problem and oppression. Rescue those who are troubled by recurring difficulties, relationship problems, and physical ailments. As You saved Peter when he cried out, “Lord, save me,” stretch out Your hand and rescue Your children. Remove misunderstandings and restore peace in their homes. Touch their throats, tongues, intestines, livers, kidneys, and every affected organ. Heal those suffering from seizures, trembling, nervous disorders, wounds, pains, fluid discharge from their ears, swollen legs, and problems affecting their heads. Comfort children who continually cry because of their difficulties; heal them, shape them in godliness, and make them a joy to their families. Remove every heartache and deliver Your people from oppression. Just as You healed Vishal of his sore throat, heal those suffering from similar problems. Thank You for performing miracles and answering our prayers. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
