My dear friends, today it is a joy to meditate on God's precious promise found in Isaiah 49:15: “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!” What a comforting assurance from the Lord! A mother's love is often considered one of the strongest forms of love. Yet God says that even if a mother forgets her child, He will never forget His children. His love is greater, deeper, and more faithful than any human love.

There was an incident reported in the news about a mother traveling in a cab with her two-year-old son. When she reached her destination, she got out of the cab, and another passenger entered as the next ride began. A little later, the cab driver received a phone call. The caller asked, “Is this the cab driver?” When he replied yes, she asked, “Is there a small two-year-old child in the back seat? I think I may have left him there.” The passenger sitting beside the child confirmed that the child was indeed in the cab. The mother then urgently requested the driver to bring her child back. This incident reminds us that even loving parents can forget things when they are overwhelmed by responsibilities and concerns. But God is never overwhelmed. He never overlooks His children. He never loses sight of us, not even for a moment. The Lord has engraved you on the palms of His hands. He knows every detail of your life. He knows your needs, your struggles, your future, and every step you take. He watches over you with constant care and concern.

Perhaps today you feel lonely, forgotten, hurt, or misunderstood. You may feel that nobody knows your pain or understands your situation. But the Lord does. He sees every tear, hears every prayer, and understands every burden you carry. Therefore, lean on Jesus today. He will comfort you as a loving parent comforts a child. He will strengthen you in your weakness, guide you through your challenges, and provide for all your needs. You are precious to Him, and He will never abandon you. Take courage today. The God who created you remembers you, cares for you, and walks with you through every season of life.

PRAYER:
Loving Lord, thank You for Your unfailing love and constant care over my life. When I feel lonely, forgotten, or discouraged, remind me that You are always with me and never leave me. Lord, comfort my heart in every season of pain and strengthen my faith when I feel weak. Provide for every need in my life according to Your perfect will and timing. Help me to trust in Your presence each day and rest in Your everlasting love without fear or doubt. I believe You are with me always and You will never fail me. In Jesus’ precious name, I pray, Amen.
