My precious children of God, today’s promise is taken from Hebrews 13:6: “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.” What a great and blessed life it is! You should have the Lord with you all the time, my friends. David says, “The Lord is my shepherd.” Yes, that should be your experience. The Lord should live with you. He should be your Helper at all times. Psalm 28:7 says, “The Lord is my strength and my shield; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him.” The Psalmist writes in Psalm 9:1, “I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart.” With my whole heart, I will praise You, Father.

My friends, let us all turn to Psalm 103 and read together the first two verses: “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.” So, my friends, according to Psalm 33:1, what do we have to do? Rejoice in the Lord. “O righteous people, rejoice! For praise from the upright is beautiful.” Psalm 40:3 says, “He has put a new song in my mouth, praise to our God.” Many will see it, fear, and will trust in the Lord. Hallelujah! When we read the Word of God, how beautiful it is. You will experience the sweet presence of our Saviour. Sometimes I will be alone. At that time, I will lie down, talk to the Lord, read the Word of God, and rejoice in the Lord.

My friends, do you have such an experience in your life? Right now, make a decision that you will spend time with the Lord, reading His Word and enjoying His presence. The Lord will bless each one of you with that experience from this day.

Prayer:
Our Father, thank You, Lord, for Your wonderful presence. Give every child who is hearing Your Word this great experience of reading Your Word and spending time praising You. Let them experience the joy of the Holy Spirit and know You as their Helper, strength, and shield. Let their hearts always rejoice in You. Let their homes be filled with rejoicing and praise in Your presence. Help them never to forget Your benefits but continually bless Your holy name with their whole hearts. Be with each one of them, Father, and bless them with Your sweet presence every day. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
