Friend, today is your life filled with sorrow? Wherever you go, are you facing failures in life? Are you suffering from a terrible sickness where even the doctors have let you down? Yes, the Lord says that He is going to cover His happiness over all your sorrows. When we live in this world, there will be sorrows and troubles. Every believer will go through challenges. But the Lord promises that even in times of trouble, He will fill you with His happiness and His peace. Yes, the great peace that God gives is going to fill you today, my dear friend.

That is what the Bible says in the Book of Isaiah 35:10, “Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.” Even though there may be sorrows in your life, the Lord’s gladness is going to fill your life today. Yes, we have a cross to carry in this world. The burdens, the sacrifices, and the tears you have shed, the Lord is going to wipe them away and fill you with gladness. Remember the life of Job. He was a faithful man, yet he faced every kind of trouble, losing his family, his health, and even the support of his friends.

Today, you may feel the same way, saying, “Lord, everyone I trusted has let me down. My life is filled with sorrow.” But the Lord promises that His gladness will fill you today. He will not leave you in your pain. He will replace your sorrow with joy and your sighing with peace. Let us believe this promise today and receive His gladness into our lives.

PRAYER: 
Dear Lord, You see every sorrow, every tear, and every burden in my life. When I feel weak and surrounded by troubles, fill me with Your peace. Replace my sorrow with Your gladness and my sighing with joy. Help me to trust Your promise even when I cannot see a way. Heal my heart and restore what I have lost. Carry my burdens and strengthen me to endure. Let Your joy overtake me and overflow in my life. I believe that better days are coming from You. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
