My precious child of God, I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today, we are going to meditate on Psalm 119:105. It says, “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” It is giving light unto the feet and to our lives. What do we have to do? Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom.” My precious child of God, how much time do you spend every day to read the word of God? Not only reading the word of God, but you have to meditate on the word of God. John 14:23 says, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make a home with him.” What a great thing it is to have God Almighty and Jesus Christ staying with us.

The more you read the word of God, the more you can feel the presence of God in a mighty way. And not only that, II Corinthians 6:7 & 10 says, “By the word of truth… as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing.” You may be sorrowful, but you will be rejoicing by reading the word of God. God’s word has so much power, my precious child of God. Don’t take it lightly to read the word of God. Every morning, every day, you have to read as much as you can. You have to eat the word of God, and through that, we will receive a lot of blessings.

John 16:24 says, “Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” Not only reading the word of God, but you have to ask the Lord, “Lord, whatever I read, give me this blessing,” and the Lord will give you in double measure. That’s what we read here, Ask and you will receive, that your joy may be full. And Luke 11:13 says, “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him.” By reading the word of God, all these blessings will come to you, my dear child of God. Shall we dedicate our lives to doing this every day in our lives?

PRAYER:
Lord Jesus, I come before You with a humble and grateful heart. Thank You for giving me Your precious Word to guide my life. Your Word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path. Help me to read and meditate on Your Word every day. Let Your Word dwell in me richly and in all wisdom. Fill my heart with Your truth and help me to live according to it. Teach me to ask You in faith and trust in Your promises. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit as I seek You with all my heart. Let my life be rooted in Your Word always. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
