Dear friends, today the Lord is going to shine His light upon us. As Psalm 27:1 says, “The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear?” The Lord is our light, bringing salvation, and He saves us through His wonderful, glorious light. Sometimes darkness surrounds us, isn’t it? When a little child tries to sleep at night in their room and the light is switched off, they may become afraid of the darkness. The father or mother has to come and turn on a small light so that the child will no longer be afraid. Only then can the child peacefully go to bed. It is the same with us, my friend.

When we see a light in our lives, we are not afraid of the darkness. Jesus is the Light whom we need to turn on in our lives. When His light shines within us through the Holy Spirit, we become so brave that nothing can conquer us. The saving arm of God will come and save us, and it happens. So, turn on that light always in your heart. Even when you are in trouble, call upon Him. Fear not the one who can kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But fear the One who can destroy both body and soul in hell. My friends, we have to live for our soul.

If we allow our soul to live eternally, then we will live eternally. If our soul dies, then eternity is gone for us. When you have this mindset—that your soul should live—no man can touch your soul. No devil can touch your soul. You will not fear anything in this world or the next. You will know that God will protect you as you do His will.

Yes, He is the only One whom we should fear so that our soul can live eternally. When you only fear Him, He comes to save us. You will know that He will save you, and your heart will be at peace. You will not worry that your problems will overcome you. Even if you are going through some darkness now, let us pray for the light of God to shine in our lives and save us.

Prayer:
Dear Lord, shine Your divine light upon me and remove every fear and darkness from my life. Be my light and my salvation when I face threats, troubles, sickness, uncertainty, and fear. Fill my heart and soul with Your Holy Spirit and give me courage to trust You. Protect my soul and help me live according to Your will. Rescue Your children from every difficult situation and turn their problems around. Set them completely free from drinking, bad habits, and everything that destroys their lives. Let Your saving arm protect them and bring peace, freedom, healing, and miracles into their lives. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
