My friend, Jesus, wants to do miracles for you. You know why? Not to show off as God, but because of His compassion for you. In Matthew 9:35,36, the Bible says that when Jesus saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them. And He said, they are like sheep without a shepherd. Where will they go? How will they live? I am the Chief Shepherd. I will give My life for them. I will take away their sins and their sorrows and pain. I will make them live. That is the compassion with which Jesus looks at you. That’s why He does miracles for you, to wipe away your tears and turn your sorrow into joy. Today’s promise is taken from Matthew 28:18: “All authority in heaven and on earth is given to Me.” Jesus says, “I have all authority. So, ask anything in My name. I will do it for you. My name is greater than your greatest problems, but you have to ask in My name.” Just don’t sit back and say, “God will do everything,” and then blame Me. Ask Me, My son. Ask Me, My daughter. Pray. Pray. That’s all I ask of you. I will do it. I’ll do what you ask Me to do. What great humility. What great love He has for you. He says, “Daddy is waiting for you, My child. Ask. Daddy will do everything for you.” He loves you.
What are the miracles which Jesus did when He was in this world? First of all, He was born in the womb of a virgin (Matthew 1:18). If He could be born in the womb of a virgin, can He not create everything for you from nothing? He will bless your home. He will bless your studies. He will bless your finances. He will bless your marriage. He will bless your future. From nothing, He will create everything for you. That is His power (Romans 4:17). Secondly, He walked on the waters of the sea when there was a great storm, and the waves rose to great heights (Mark 6:49-50). And He said, “Don’t be afraid. It is I.” And when they took Him into the boat, the storm died down. There was peace. When He gets into your boat today, into your life today, there will be peace. That’s the miracle Jesus does for you. And thirdly, when He laid hands on everyone, people were healed (Luke 8:43-44). He will touch you. And when you touch Him also, you’ll be healed. Yes, when you touch Him by crying unto Him and saying, “Jesus, You’re the only One who can help me,” the power of Jesus will flow into your life. Healing will flow. You will be healed.
And fourthly, He took the five loaves and multiplied them to feed multitudes, the miracle of feeding the multitudes (Luke 9:16-17). Will He not do this for you in your family? He will feed you all and keep you away from debts. And next, He will deliver you from sickness. He’ll heal your sickness. He will keep sickness away from you (Luke 13:10-12). A woman who had been bent over for eighteen years, Jesus called her, cast out the devil, touched her, and made her whole. She stood up straight, totally healed. God will do it for you. Jesus still has all authority in heaven and on earth. He still looks at you with compassion. He still says, “Don’t be afraid. It is I.” Today, if you will ask in His name and cry out to Him in prayer, He will wipe away your tears, turn your sorrow into joy, bring peace into your life, provide for your family, heal your sickness, and create blessings for you from nothing. That is the miracle-working Jesus who loves you.
PRAYER:
Father God, thank You for looking at me with compassion and love. You know my tears, my struggles, and every burden in my heart. Lord Jesus, I believe that all authority belongs to You. Please step into my life and calm every storm within me. Create blessings for me even from nothing and supply all my needs. Touch my body, mind, family, and future with Your healing power. Teach me to pray with faith and trust completely in You. Let Your peace, joy, and miracles overflow in my life. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray, Amen.
