Dear friend, today God is pouring His oil of joy upon us. As we receive His word, that’s the blessing we get. His word comes today from Ezekiel 37:14: “I will put My Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land.” Yes, today we are here to receive a new outpouring of God’s Spirit into us. If you look at the people living at the time when this scripture was spoken, they were saying, “It’s so dry; our life is so dry. Our hope is gone for anything good in our lives.” And that is when the Lord spoke this word to them.

You might also be speaking like that, saying, “Lord, parts of my life are so dry. It’s so dry not being able to find a partner for me. I’m not able to find any joy in my family life. I feel so dry; dry in my business. Lord, I don’t see any goodness in my life. I don’t have any joy. What can I do? My hope is also gone, Lord.” My friend, at this moment, our human mind cannot conceive any hope. But as the Lord pours His Spirit into us, He renews our mind and fills it with His joy. Then we begin to think in terms of what the Lord is going to do for us, and that opens up our future.

He says, “I will pour My Spirit in you and you will live.” That is what God is prophesying. The Spirit will make us live, not die in hopelessness. And He also says, “I will settle you in your own land.” You may think the land you are in is going to be taken away from you; that part of your life may seem lost, with no more hope in it. But the Lord says, “I will settle you in that land. The land that I have given you, I will settle you with joy.” Amen. Your marriage will live. You will find the right partner and enter into God’s plan for your life. Shall we receive these blessings?

PRAYER: 
Dear Lord, thank You for pouring Your oil of joy into my life. Breathe Your life into every dry and empty area of my life. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit and renew my heart. Remove every hopelessness within me, Lord. Let Your joy rise up and overflow in my life. Restore what feels lost and lifeless. Settle me in the place You have prepared for me. I receive Your life and Your promise today. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
