My friend, today we are going to passionately seek the Lord and ask God to bless us from the bottom of His heart. And He will surely do it. He speaks to us today from Psalm 34:8, "Taste and see that the Lord is good."
When I was young and studying in my cousin’s house, I didn’t like to eat noodles at all. But without my knowledge, she cooked them, cut them into small pieces, and made them look like fried rice. She tricked me and gave it to me. Eating that, I felt so good. I just enjoyed it and said, "Your fried rice is so good!" And she replied, "It was noodles that you ate!" See? Before tasting, you should not say no.
Yes, sometimes we also have a different perception about Jesus, based on what people say or what we’ve heard. But taste and see, and you will realise how good the Lord is. Even in one of our Youth Conferences, a young boy who was an atheist and didn’t believe in God came. He said, “I was living a lavish lifestyle, having fun, and involving myself in all kinds of habits because I didn’t believe there was a God.” But during the prayer time, without his knowledge, his eyes began to tear up, and his heart was filled with something he had never felt before. He said, “I found out about the love of Jesus only today.” My friend, Jesus is so good. Taste and see, and you will never let Him go. Would you receive this wonderful Jesus, even now?
PRAYER:
Loving Lord, I come before You with an open heart, ready to seek You passionately and receive the blessing You long to pour out on me from the depth of Your heart. You invite me to taste and see that You are good, and Lord, I want to experience that goodness for myself. I confess that sometimes I have listened to others' opinions and let doubts cloud my view of who You really are. But now, I want to know You for myself, not through secondhand stories, but through a personal encounter. Jesus, I open my heart to You. Come in, reveal Your love to me, and let me experience the sweetness of Your presence. Just one taste of Your goodness is enough to change my life. I receive You now, Jesus, my Saviour, my Friend, my everything. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
