My dear friend, it's a joy for me to greet you this morning. Today we're meditating on Psalm 2:8, "I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession." My friend, according to this verse, God will make the nations your inheritance. Today, you may say, "If I have a job, if I have a home, if I have a family, that's enough for me. I'll be content." But my friend, God wants to make the nations your inheritance. He will place you in high places, give you a great name, so that His name will be glorified through you. Yes, maybe you're waiting for a job in a different place, in a better company, in a different country, or to rise to a greater position in your career. But today you may say, "I don't see anything moving forward in my career." But my friend, God says that the nations are your possession. He will place you in high places.
That’s exactly what happened in the life of Mrs. Rani’s son. She shared her testimony about her son, Vaishakh, who was working for an Indian software company in the U.S. for seven years. During that time, he had no problem getting projects and was able to continue working and staying there on his visa. But suddenly, the company announced that his project had ended. He had to return to India, even though he had three more years left on his visa. He tried to get a job with his previous company in Trivandrum, but they also said there were no projects available. He didn’t know what to do. He was stuck in his career. At that time, they wrote a letter to Dr. Paul Dhinakaran, asking him to pray that he would get a job in an American IT company. And Dr. Paul replied, saying, "Your son will definitely get a job," and encouraged them with full of faith. Just as Dr. Paul prayed, God gave him a wonderful job in a government-based IT company in the U.S. Because of this, his mother gave a thanks offering and sponsored a TV programme. And right after that, God enabled him to get a green card as well. My friend, God, not only blessed him with a job, but also gave him the permanent blessing of staying in the country.
According to Jeremiah 23:23, "God is for the near and for the far." The ends of the earth are His possession. So we don’t need to fear anything. He has the ability to do anything for us. The world is in His control. The nations are in His control. And today, He has great plans for you. He just doesn’t want you to settle. He wants to take you to great heights, honour you, because you have faith in Him, because you obey Him, and because you carry His name in your life. Through you, His name will be glorified. So don’t worry about anything, my friend. Your future is in God’s hands.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, thank You for Your powerful promise that You will make the nations our inheritance and the ends of the earth our possession. Lord, sometimes I settle for what’s comfortable. But You have so much more in store for me. Lift me up, Lord, to the places You’ve prepared for me. Position me where Your name will be glorified through my life. You are the God of the near and the far. I trust that You have great plans for me, to honour me, and to take me to great heights. Help me to walk in faith, obey Your voice, and carry Your name with boldness. Let Your glory be seen in me, and let Your purpose for my life be fulfilled, fully and completely. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
