My dear friend, today the Lord is holding our hand and leading us with hope. He’s so close to you. In Jeremiah 17:8, He says, “They will be like a tree planted by the water.” It never fails to bear fruit. Amen! Such is how the Lord is going to strengthen our frame and our life. A tree that is planted by the water is so peaceful because it has everything. You can see that tree just prospering and so beautiful among the stream of water. That’s how, when we receive the Word of God from the Bible, our lives also become so full of peace.

Our mind becomes full of peace, and we receive clarity to receive the Word and to think from the Word of God for our lives. Otherwise, we’ll be tense, we’ll be afraid and pressured, and not even be able to experience God. But this peace leads us to receive God’s Word and God’s plan. So secondly, it leads us into receiving nourishment from the Word of God. Just like the tree is nourished by the nutrients from the water, He also nourishes us. That Word brings life into us and hope to us.

And as that Word acts for us on that day, as this verse says, we will not fail to bear fruit. We will bear fruit. When they asked Isaac Newton, the great scientist, about the secret behind his findings and research, he said that when he was young, his grandmother taught him one thing that he has followed to this day: every day, read and meditate on God’s Word. He said that he continues to follow it even now, reflecting on those words of God. And it brought him blessing after blessing in his life. Let us also become like such a tree planted by the water.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, thank You for holding my hand and leading me. Plant me deeply in Your Word, like a tree by the waters. Fill my heart and mind with Your perfect peace. Remove every fear and confusion from my life. Nourish me daily with Your truth and strengthen my spirit. Let Your Word bring life, hope, and clarity within me. Help me to meditate on Your Word every day. Make me fruitful in every season of my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
