My precious child of God, I greet you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The promise which is given to us today is from Jeremiah 32:41. The Lord says, “I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant them in this land.” Our Lord who promises this way will surely fulfill all His promises. Psalm 85:12 says, “The Lord will give what is good.” Psalm 34:10 says, “Those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.” Yes, my beloved child of God, you have to seek the Lord with all your heart.

There’s a beautiful chorus which we used to teach our children: ‘Seek Him in the morning, seek Him in the noon time’. Yes, all the time you have to seek Him. David was a man of God who sought the Lord diligently. Early morning he sought, noon time he sought, night time he sought. All the time he was clinging on to God tightly. All through his life, the Lord was with him. He was just a shepherd boy, but God blessed him abundantly and raised him to be a king. What a great God we have, my dear child of God. Psalm 34:10 says, “Those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.” David sought God as his Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.” And Psalm 34:6 we read, “This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, and He saved him out of all his troubles.”

And when we are afflicted with various problems of this world, we have to look unto Him, my dear child of God. As David did, you have to cling on to Him tightly. Whatever may be the problem, it will go just like that from your life. Ezra 8:22 says, “The hand of our God is upon all those for good who seek Him.” Let us check-up our lives! Are we seeking Him with all our heart? How much time do we spend to read the Word of God, to be in the presence of God, to cry unto the Lord for all our needs? Don’t go to a man or a woman; go to God all the time. And the Lord will do everything for you in a beautiful way. Would you commit your life to such a way? 

PRAYER: 
Loving Father, thank You for Your promise to do me good. Please teach me to seek You in every moment of my life. Help me to cling to You like David did. Remove every distraction that pulls me away from You. Fill my heart with a deep hunger for Your presence. Let me not lack any good thing as I seek You. Be my Shepherd and guide me always. I commit my life fully into Your hands. In Jesus’ precious name, I pray, Amen.
