Dear friend, today God is filling our hearts with abundant joy. We are going to receive a promise straight from God, from Psalm 55:22: “Cast your cares on the Lord, and He will sustain you.” What a joy it is when we cast all our cares on Him. There was a woman in a village who was carrying a big haystack on her head, walking down a long path. A man driving his boat saw that she had to walk a long way around the water, so he said, “Why don’t you get in my boat? I can take you across in a short trip.” She got into the boat, but the man noticed that she was still carrying the haystack on her head. She didn’t want to put it down.

Many of us are just like that. Even though we have come to the Lord, we keep all our burdens on our heads. We don’t want to keep them down. We don’t want to cast them to the Lord. We keep worrying and worrying about them. Many parents do the same throughout their children’s lives, worrying about whether their child will get a good school, whether there will be enough fees to pay, whether the child will be protected, and whether they will study well. Then, at the time of marriage, will they marry the right person, and will the family be good? Then later, will a child be born, and when will that happen? Even after sending their children to school, parents keep worrying the whole day, fearing that something bad might happen. So much burden fills the heart.

But the Lord says, “Cast all your cares and burdens on Me, and I will sustain you.” In the morning, cast every burden you have in prayer to the Lord, and let God give joy and peace to your heart by taking away that burden. He promises that He will sustain you. He will take care of you, and He will take care of your children’s lives. When we are filled with the joy of His Spirit, God will guide us with His wisdom on how to take care of them. He will tell you each thing you need to do and open up the path for them. Everything will become so easy and so blessed. Shall we receive this heart right now, to cast all our burdens on the Lord?

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, today I come just as I am, carrying many burdens in my heart. You see every worry I hold on to, even the ones I don’t speak out loud. Please teach me to put my burdens down and to trust You completely. Even now, I cast all my cares, my fears, and my children’s lives into Your loving hands. You have promised to sustain me, and I believe Your Word. Fill my heart with the joy and peace that comes from Your Spirit. Guide me with Your wisdom in every decision I make. Open the right paths for me and my family and perfect all that concerns us. I rest in You today, believing that You will take care of everything. In Jesus’ precious name, I pray, Amen.
