My friend, “With God, we will gain the victory and He will trample down our enemies.” Psalm 60:12 is today’s promise. With God, we will gain the victory. If you read I Corinthians 15:57, the Bible says, “Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory [or causes us to triumph] through Jesus Christ.” Jesus says, “I was dead, but I am alive evermore.” The worst defeat anyone can face in life is death. You can recover from any other defeat as long as you're alive. But if you're dead… how can you come back? Yet Jesus died and broke the power of death by rising again, alive through His living Spirit. He said, “I was dead, but I’m alive evermore. He who believes in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.”

Yes, my friend, you may feel that everything is dead in your life. But with God, you will gain the victory. The Lord is full of life! Jesus says, “I am the Life.” He is the resurrection, the way, the truth, and the life. He is life itself. Anything can live when Jesus is in your heart. Everything can come back to life when Jesus is in your heart. Even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you will fear no evil, because God is with you. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, yet it will not harm you, because you are surrounded by the grace of God, surrounded by the peace of God, surrounded by the victory Jesus won on the cross for you. You are surrounded by the victory Jesus won when He rose from the grave on the third day. Jesus says, “I am with you always.” He says, “Because I live, you will live also.” You will have victory, victory, victory! Do not be afraid.

Here’s a beautiful testimony. Sis. Prema, a single mother, had lost her husband, and she was raising two children. She was trained as a lab technician, but was only given a nursing assistant position with a low salary. She worked faithfully for eight years with no promotion or increase in pay. Nobody cared for her, and some people were jealous of her. At that time, she came to the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower and attended a fasting prayer. A prayer intercessor there prayed over her and said, “God will bless the labour of your hands.” Amazingly, the very next month, she received her long-pending salary and was promoted in her job! Today, her son has completed his engineering studies and is working in a private company. Her daughter is also studying engineering, and Sis. Prema is now building her own house. Praise God! God will give you the victory, too. Let not your heart be troubled.

PRAYER: 
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise of victory through Jesus Christ. Though I may feel surrounded by defeat, I know You are the God of life. Lord Jesus, You conquered death and rose again, now You live forevermore! I believe that because You live, I will also live. Let every dead area in my life be revived by Your Spirit. Surround me with Your grace, peace, and resurrection power. Help me to fear no evil, for You are always with me. Thank You that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. With You, O God, I will gain the victory! In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
