My friend, today the Lord is here with us to do miracles. So, don’t be worried. Just listen to His words from Proverbs 18:10: “The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.” God’s name, which is with us, is a strong tower, my friend; a fortified tower. It means it is so well guarded that nobody can enter into it. The righteous are safe under His name. In baseball or in cricket, when they reach the line of the batter, they are safe. Like that, let us run to the Lord.

Every day, there was a meeting held by a very powerful servant of God. But just when the meeting started, there was heavy rain, and it did not stop. Yet the servant of God was amazed to see all the people still in that meeting. Under the cover of the tent, they were standing in a corner and listening. Some people took a banner and spread it over them, and they were listening. That was amazing how the people received the word of God, even though there was heavy rain. That’s the way we have to absorb the word of God every day. That is our strong fortified tower.

The righteous run to the word of God, and that word operates mightily in our lives. God does miracles. God protects our lives. He rescues us from harm. So run to the word of God each day. Each day brings its own trouble, but through the word of God, God’s new mercies for that day come upon us, and they protect our lives. And you yourself will feel so full of God’s Spirit. God is giving that grace to you, my friend.

PRAYER: 
Loving Lord, I run to You for You are my strong tower. In every fearful and troubling situation, be my refuge and safety. Please help me to seek Your word every single day. Fill me with Your divine presence and Your peace. Protect me from all harm and danger, Lord. Let Your name be my covering and strength. Teach me to trust You completely. Keep me safe under Your mighty hand. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
