Hi friends, today we have a wonderful promise from 1 Kings 3:14: “And if you walk in obedience to me... I will give you a long life.” Perhaps many of you are thinking, “Lord, I have obeyed You for so many years. I have listened to Your voice and followed Your ways. But where is the blessing?” Today, the Lord wants to encourage your heart. He promises to give you one of His greatest blessings—a long and wonderful life. Let us believe it and receive it by faith.

Why is a long life important? It is not simply to live many years; it is so that we may continue to be a blessing to those around us. We see this in the life of our dear Grandma Stella Dhinakaran. Even today, whenever we visit her, her Bible is open before her. She is writing, preparing messages, speaking on platforms, and sharing recordings that continue to bless countless lives. God has blessed her with a life that still bears fruit for His kingdom.

That is how the Lord desires to use you as well. He wants to give you a long life that brings glory to Him and blessing to others. Think about the ants that move in a straight line. Wherever the leader goes, they faithfully follow. They are not distracted by what is happening around them. They do not turn to the right or to the left; they simply continue in obedience.

The Lord expects the same from us. When we obey Him wholeheartedly and follow His leading, He blesses us with a long and faithful life. He protects us, guides us, and uses us to touch the lives of others. Today, if you are worried and wondering whether there is any reward for your obedience, take heart. The Lord says, “I will give you a long life.” He sees every sacrifice, every act of faithfulness, and every step of obedience. None of it is forgotten.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I pray for every person watching this video. Many may be discouraged, wondering whether their years of obedience have been in vain. But today, reassure them with Your promise. Let Your blessing come upon Your children. Protect them wherever they go. As they travel, work, and carry out their daily responsibilities, let Your hand of protection be upon them and their vehicles. Reward them with a long life—a life that will be a blessing to others and bring glory to Your name. We commit our lives into Your hands. Help us to remain obedient and faithful to You. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
