My dear brothers and sisters, Today’s promise verse is from Exodus 12:13: “No destructive plague will touch you.” The Lord promised the Israelites that when He saw the blood on the doorposts of their houses, He would pass over them, and no destructive plague would touch them. What a wonderful promise this is for us!

The Israelites were protected not because of anything they had applied on the doorposts, but because of the blood. The blood of the Lamb pointed to the blood of Jesus, which He shed on the cross. We are saved not by our own righteousness but by the blood of Jesus. Leviticus 17:11 says, “It is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life.” Matthew 26:28 also tells us that Jesus’ blood was shed for the forgiveness of sins. Through His blood, we are forgiven, bought, and redeemed. We are also healed through the blood of Jesus. Whenever the Lord remembers the blood that was shed, He remembers us.

Once, my little brother Anand developed boils on his tongue after drinking hot milk. He cried throughout the day because of the unbearable pain. He could neither eat nor drink anything. In frustration, he called my mother and said, “Please apply the prayed oil on my tongue, Mommy.” He believed in the blood of Jesus and said, “If you apply the oil on my tongue, I will be healed tomorrow morning.” He had great faith in the sacrifice of Jesus. Miraculously, according to his faith, the Lord touched him and completely healed him the next morning.

The blood is a sign of our blessings. Likewise, I have seen many mothers receive prayed oil from our Prayer Towers, believing that the Lord will perform miracles. They apply it on their doorposts, on their children, and even on husbands struggling with drinking. Some apply it to their animals, believing that the Lord will heal them. Some even put the oil into their cooking pots, believing that the Lord will bless their food. Yes, through the blood of Jesus, we are protected and healed. Today, may the Lord’s hand come upon you. May the Lord’s nail-pierced hand come upon you and bring healing.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for shedding Your precious blood on the cross for us. Let the power of Your blood bring forgiveness, protection, healing, and life to Your children. Touch those who are sick and heal every disease, infection, cancer, tumour, cyst, blood disorder, and weakness. Let every organ function normally, and let creative miracles take place. Heal bent fingers, unformed bones, damaged nerves, brain disorders, autism, tongue and throat diseases. Let every unwanted weakness leave. Remember Your sacrifice, Lord, and restore those who have suffered. Let no one lose hope, but experience Your healing power today. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
