My precious child of God, I greet you in the powerful name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Today, the promise given to us is from Ezra 8:22, which says, “The gracious hand of our God is on everyone who looks to Him”. Yes, my friend, we must have a close communion with the Lord. We have to look unto Him, cling on to Him, and speak to Him. In this way, we develop a close communion with the Lord. David lived such a close life with God. I Chronicles 29:12 says, “Both riches and honour come from You, O Father, and You reign over all. In Your hand are power and might; in Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all”.

David was just a shepherd boy, yet God blessed him as a mighty king. How did he receive that blessing? How did he seek the Lord? Psalm 55:17 says that evening, morning, and noon he sought the Lord, and Psalm 63:1 says he sought God early in the morning. That is why he could say with confidence, Lord, Your right hand has held me up, and Your gentleness has made me great. Yes, if you believe, you shall see the glory of God. David sought the Lord with all his heart. Even Jesus Christ, though He was the Son of God, sought His Father carefully. Mark 1:35 says that early in the morning, He sought the Father.

Just like Him, my friend, you also must seek the Lord with all your heart. Rise up early in the morning, at four o’clock, and sit at His feet. Sing unto the glory of God, read the Word of God, and glorify the Lord from the bottom of your heart. You will be filled with the power of God and the presence of God in a beautiful way. You can pour out all your heart’s desires, and the hand of God will come upon you. You will be blessed abundantly. So, tell Him, Lord, I want to seek You with all my heart. Commit your ways and ask the Lord to give you grace to seek Him fully, and you will surely become a blessed person.

PRAYER:
Loving Father, thank You for Your gracious hand upon my life. Give me the grace to seek You with all my heart. Help me to rise early and sit at Your feet. Please fill me with Your power and Your presence. Let Your right hand hold me up always. Teach me to cling to You in every season of my life. Please make my life a testimony of Your glory. In Jesus’ precious name, I pray, Amen.
