My dear friend, today we remember with love my late aunt, Miss. Angel Dhinakaran, whose life was taken too soon in a tragic car accident. Though her earthly journey ended early, that moment became the divine beginning of God’s mighty plan, the birth of Karunya University and the expansion of the Jesus Calls ministry. Out of sorrow came a seed of blessing. Today, as we remember her life and legacy, God gives us this promise from 2 Corinthians 3:17, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” The freedom that comes from the Holy Spirit is not a worldly liberty, but a heavenly release from guilt, shame, and sin. So often, sin whispers lies into our hearts saying, “You are not worthy. You can never be blessed. You cannot go to God.” But my friend, the Holy Spirit comes to silence those voices and remind us, “Jesus has already paid the price for you. You are forgiven, you are loved, and you are free.” When the Spirit of God fills you, He removes your guilt and restores your right to enjoy the blessings of your Heavenly Father.

Let me share a story our family often remembers the story of two little boys, Jim and Henry. One day, while playing near the chicken coop, Jim threw a small stone which accidentally hit a hen and killed it. Frightened, he asked his elder brother Henry not to tell their parents. Henry agreed but began to take advantage of Jim’s fear. Whenever their parents asked Henry to do chores, he would say, “Jim, you do it, or I’ll tell Dad and Mom about the hen.” Day after day, Jim carried Henry’s burden, bound by fear and guilt. Finally, he could bear it no more. With tears, he confessed everything to his father. The father forgave him instantly, saying, “You’ve learned your lesson, my son.” That evening, when Henry tried to force Jim again, the father overheard and scolded Henry. My friend, this story shows what sin and guilt can do. They enslave us to fear and shame. But when we go to our loving Father and confess, He frees us from every burden. The Holy Spirit’s voice says to you today, “Come to Jesus, tell Him everything, and be free.” There is no sin too great for His forgiveness, no mistake too deep for His mercy.

So today, on this special day of remembrance, let us open our hearts to the Spirit of the Lord. The same Spirit who brought comfort to our family after loss is here to comfort you too. The Spirit gives freedom from fear, from guilt, from the curses of sin. The blood of Jesus cleanses you completely and gives you a brand-new life. When the Holy Spirit fills you, He brings the Father’s blessing. Your sorrows will turn to joy, your failures to success, your mourning to dancing. The Spirit will help you rise again and live victoriously. Dear friend, as we thank God for the life of Miss. Angel Dhinakaran, let us also thank Him for the freedom that comes through His Spirit. Cry out now and say, “Lord, fill me with Your Spirit. Make me free indeed.” The Lord who turned tragedy into triumph in our family will turn every pain in your life into a testimony of glory.

Prayer:
Loving Lord Jesus, Thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit to give me freedom. Forgive me for every sin and remove my guilt and fear. Let Your Spirit fill my heart with peace and joy. Cleanse me with Your precious blood and make me new. Break every bondage that has held me back. Let Your freedom flow in my home and family. Heal every sorrow and bring comfort to my heart where it is broken. Let Your blessings increase upon me this month. Transform every loss in my life into divine purpose and glory. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray, Amen.
