Dear friends, today we are going to meditate on Deuteronomy 28:7. What a wonderful promise from our loving God! “The Lord declares that the enemies who rise against His children will be defeated. They may come against us united in one way, but they will flee before us in seven different ways.” Such is the power and protection of our God. The Lord puts fear into the hearts of our enemies because He is with us. The One who lives in us is greater than the one who is in this world. In Exodus 23:22, the Lord lovingly says, “I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.” What a comforting assurance! God Himself stands on our side and fights our battles. No one can touch us without His permission because His mighty hand protects us.

When King Jehoshaphat was terrified by the vast army that came against Judah, the Lord spoke through His servant in 2 Chronicles 20:15, saying, “Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.” Many times, we become anxious and troubled by the challenges around us. We sit in fear and worry, forgetting that God is with us. But when God is for us, who can stand against us? We are never alone in our struggles because the Lord fights on our behalf.

I remember ministering in a meeting at Nagpur. As the Word of God was being shared, demons began to manifest. Many mothers who were possessed by evil spirits started shouting loudly. Seeing their suffering filled my heart with compassion. As I rebuked the evil spirits in the name of Jesus, they immediately left them. What a glorious sight it was to witness their deliverance! God was present, and His power set them free. Dear friend, the same God is with you today. Nothing can prevail against you. When you stand in the authority of Christ, every evil power must flee.

We see another powerful example in Mark 5:6. When Jesus approached from a distance, the demon-possessed man ran and fell on his knees before Him. The demons cried out, “What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God?” Jesus commanded the unclean spirits to come out, and immediately they obeyed. This man had been living among the tombs, bound by countless demons that no human chain could restrain. Yet one word from Jesus brought complete deliverance. Such is the authority of our Savior. Therefore, dear friend, do not fear the enemy or the powers of darkness. The Bible says, “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Before resisting the devil, we must first submit ourselves to God. When we walk closely with Him, His power works through us. The Lord is fighting for you even now. Every enemy, every oppression, every attack of darkness must bow before His mighty name. Trust Him and stand firm in faith, for the battle belongs to the Lord.

Prayer:
Dear Lord, I thank You for being my defender and my refuge. You have promised that the enemies who rise against me will be defeated and flee before me. Lord, fight every battle that stands against my life, family, health, and future. Deliver me from every oppression of the enemy and break every chain of fear, anxiety, and bondage. Let every evil power that causes pain, sickness, confusion, and division leave in Jesus’ name. Fill my home with Your peace, presence, and protection. Strengthen my faith to trust You completely, knowing that the battle belongs to You. Thank You for granting me victory and freedom through Your mighty power. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
