Dear friend, today is a day of hope! Hope that God will never abandon you, never leave you, and will bless you. Cling to this hope, as declared in this promise verse from Hebrews 10:38, "My righteous one will live by faith." God’s righteous will live by faith alone. People of this world live by sight — by what they see in front of them, by what is happening around them. As a result, their emotions change according to the situation. Sometimes they are happy, other times they feel frustrated, pressured, or unsure of what to do. But God teaches us, His children, to live by faith, not based on circumstances, not by what we see or hold, but by trusting that He is always a good God, always faithful, a promise-keeper who never changes. Once you place your faith firmly in this truth, a righteous man will never be shaken.
I once saw a master leave his dog in a car and walk into a shop. The dog stayed obediently in the car, waiting patiently. The master came back only after two or three hours. The dog never pawed the windows or shook the door. It sat silently, waiting for the master’s return. I was amazed by the dog's patience, because it knew and believed the master would return and not abandon him. How much more, my friend, should you and I live by faith, believing that our God will never leave us nor forsake us? God will honour your faith. And the Bible says, faith comes by hearing the Word of God. So every day, renew your faith by hearing His Word, and you will grow stronger in faith, unshakable. And God promises you great things each day.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, thank You for being a faithful God who never leaves me nor forsakes me. In moments when life feels uncertain, please remind me, Lord, to live not by what I see, but by the truth of Your Word. Strengthen my faith each day through Your loving promises. Help me to fix my eyes not on circumstances, but on You alone. Let my heart remain steadfast in You, knowing that You are a promise-keeping God. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
