My friend, “You’ll be blessed in the city and blessed in the country,” says the Lord in Deuteronomy 28:3. God will keep you blessed wherever He places you. It’s not the place you stay that brings the blessing; It is the presence of Jesus in your heart. Many times, people ask me, “Should I live here? Will something near my home affect me?” But no, you simply need Jesus. He says, “I will make your heart, your body, My temple.

I am standing at the door of your heart and knocking. If you hear My voice and say, ‘Jesus, come in,’ I will come into you and sup with you.” That is the heart of Jesus. He longs to be involved in every part of your life—your family, your personal life, and when Jesus is there, His blessings and grace will follow. Everything you do will be blessed. Everything you have will be blessed. Everyone who is with you will be blessed. The Bible says that God blessed Obed-Edom and everything he had, and even the king heard about it. That is how your family will be. The Lord is ready to come in and do everything for you. He will perfect all that concerns you. You’ll be blessed in the city. You’ll be blessed in the country. God will raise you and your family members to high places in the land, and for that, He is sending His Holy Spirit rain upon you. Receive the Holy Spirit.

Here’s a remarkable testimony of Kavipriya. Her father passed away when she was a child, and her mother raised her along with her younger brother in a village. Her mother sent her to a hostel for her studies, and the family criticised her for it. It was at this time that she came to a Jesus Calls meeting where I was praying for students. Her grandmother enrolled her in the Young Partners Plan. Then came her exams. She scored 447 marks out of 500 and was first in her school. She completed her 12th standard, then her B.A., and M.A., finishing with a gold medal. Today, she works in a private company. From nowhere, God raised her up. Blessed in the city. Blessed in her village. Now she is a blessing to many other children in her village. God will make you a blessing, too. Wherever you are, you will prosper. “A little one shall become a thousand.” You will become a thousand!

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise that I am blessed in the city and blessed in the country. I rejoice that my blessings are not tied to my surroundings but to Your presence in my life. Lord Jesus, I welcome You into my heart today. Be my everything, dwell in me, and let Your favour surround me like a shield. Please help me to trust that where I am right now is not a limitation, but a place for Your glory to shine. Thank You for perfecting all that concerns me, and for the assurance that I will prosper, wherever I am, because You are with me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
