My precious friend, may God bless you as you start this new month, the beginning of a new financial year. Today, I want to share how to make your home stand up, how to make your life stand up. The only way is found in Psalm 127:1, “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain.” Many try to build their own house, family, and life, but unless the Lord builds it, everything is in vain. Hebrews 3:4 reminds us that every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything. This month, God will build everything for you; everything broken, shattered, and destroyed shall be rebuilt; Your family life, health, job, success, anointing, prosperity, peace, and grace for miracles. Jesus Himself will be built in your life! So, open your heart to God. He loves you. You are His partner; He is your Father and your God, and He will build everything for you. When God builds a house, He builds it as a peaceful house. Isaiah 32:18 says, “His people will live in peaceful dwelling places, secure homes, and undisturbed places of rest”. Everything will be peaceful, protected, and restful in your life. Jesus said, “Come unto Me all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” This rest means the Lord will perfect everything concerning you, arranging everything according to His plan so that you can enjoy His blessings.
Psalm 147:14 declares that God grants peace to your borders and satisfies you with the finest blessing. In Acts 9:31, the early believers experienced peace, were strengthened, lived in reverence to God, were encouraged by the Holy Spirit, and increased in number. This is peace, prosperity, protection, and increase; God will give you the same as you live righteously and follow His will. Secondly, God will build your home as a house filled with salvation. Acts 16:31 promises that when you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, you and your household will be saved. Your family will accept Jesus, be free from sin, and live righteously, becoming a household connected to heaven. I Corinthians 7:14 assures that an unbelieving spouse is sanctified through the believing one, as the Holy Spirit brings transformation. When husband and wife maintain faith, their children become godly, as promised in Malachi 2:14. Even those who have backslidden will be restored, for God says in Jeremiah 3:22 that He will heal and bring them back to Him.
Thirdly, your home will become a serving family. Isaiah 8:18 declares, “Here am I, and the children the Lord has given me. We are signs and symbols.” God’s love will flow through your family, and people will come to know Jesus through you. Like Martha’s, Mary’s, and Lazarus’ household, your home can welcome others. Martha served, Mary sat with Jesus, and Lazarus received a miracle when he was raised from the dead. Because of this, people came from everywhere to witness God’s power. In the same way, when you share your testimony of what Jesus has done in your life, people will be drawn to Him, and God will honour your family. Fourthly, your home will be strongly established. Floods may come, rains may fall, winds may blow, but your home will stand forever. When you hear and obey God’s Word, your life will remain firm. Jesus is the rock (I Corinthians 10:4), and you are built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets (Ephesians 2:20). There will be unity in your family. According to Ephesians 5:22–33, the wife will respect the husband, and the husband will love the wife, and both will live in unity as one flesh.
Finally, your home will be a blessed home. Psalm 115:12 says, “The Lord will bless your house, and you and your children will increase”. Matthew 6:33 reminds you to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Your house becomes blessed when you give. Luke 6:38 says that when you give, God gives back to you. Give to God’s ministry (Malachi 3:10), give to God’s servants (Psalm 16:2–3), take care of your relatives (I Timothy 5:8), and care for the poor (Isaiah 58:7–8). As you do this, God will strengthen and bless your home. My friend, may God bless your home with His peace, strength, salvation, service to Him and His people, and abundant blessings. May He build your family and establish your life forever. God bless you.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, I surrender my home and my life into Your loving hands. Be the builder and foundation of everything I am and all that I have. Restore every broken relationship and establish peace within my family. Let Your salvation fill every heart and draw us closer to You. Teach us to serve You together and walk in unity and love. Strengthen us to stand firm as a family through every storm of life. Please help us to seek Your kingdom first and trust in Your perfect plan. Make our home a blessing to others and a dwelling place of Your presence. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray, Amen.
