My friend, today, a very common verse that we all use as our promise verse is Proverbs 21:31. It says, “The horse is made ready for the day of the battle, but victory rests with the Lord.” There are two things clearly mentioned in this verse. First, the horse is made ready for the battle, and then the victory rests with the Lord. So many times, we forget about the first part. We always say, “Yes, the Lord will give us victory, yes, the Lord will help me succeed,” but from our side, we have to get the horse ready for the battle. I like one favourite quote that says, “Do your best and leave the rest in God’s hands.” So today, if you’re preparing for your exams, your presentation, or any important interview, do your best and prepare well, and God will take care of the rest.

After you do your best, you have to leave everything in God’s hands. The Bible says in Zechariah 4:6 that even if we do our best, without the Lord’s blessing, we will not succeed. That’s why it is so important to search for the Lord and ask for His blessing every single time. Sometimes we are so focused on our strengths and our wisdom, and we think we can succeed by ourselves, but that’s not possible. Unless the Lord is with us, we will not be able to succeed. So today, give your plans to the Lord, and He will tell you how to study. He will tell you even what questions to learn, and He will tell you how to answer in your interview.

I remember when I finished school and attended an interview for college. There was a viva, with many doctors and professors sitting in front of me, and around 300 students were attending that session. They asked so many questions, but one question only I was able to answer, and they were all surprised. They said, “Oh, Shilpa has answered this; nobody else told this correctly.” That’s because the Lord was with me and He helped me. It was a very basic question, but in front of the viva, we get so scared that we tend to forget. But today, the Lord will help you succeed.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, today I entrust all my plans to You. Please help me to prepare and work hard towards my plan faithfully and diligently. Remove every fear and confusion from my heart. I trust not in my strength, but in Your presence. Bless my efforts and lead me to victory. I leave the results in Your hands, Lord. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
