Dear friend, today we have a beautiful promise verse from Ephesians 2:22, “In Him and in fellowship with one another, you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit”. We are built like a palace of God. In verse 21, the Bible says, “In us the whole structure is joined together, and it continues to increase, growing into a holy temple in the Lord”. It is a continuous process! The Lord not only builds us, but He shapes us for us to grow into a holy temple. As we have a relationship with God and as we continue to communicate with the Lord, we grow in the Lord. As we are in fellowship with our co-workers, that is, with the servants of God, the Lord builds us into a holy temple. That’s what Paul said in Galatians 2:20, “I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.”
As we allow ourselves to be built by God, the glory of God comes upon us, and it increases, and we are transformed into the image of God. That’s what the Bible says in I Peter 2:5, “Each one of us is a living stone”. We are God’s temple. Each one of us is a living stone in God’s house. God gives each one a unique gift. Even in the same house, the family members are different from each other. Before my marriage, after I got engaged to my husband, as I went to my college, my friend asked me a question without knowing that I got engaged to my husband. She was making fun of the Dhinakarans, and she said to me, “How can a father, a mother and a son minister together? This is not real. This cannot happen.”
And I was smiling within myself. I said, “Why can’t God use the entire family?” She was so innocent when she asked that question. But after she came to know about our engagement, she studied the whole ministry and came back to me and asked for forgiveness. Yes, it is possible for God to use the entire family in the kingdom of God. Each one of us is a living stone in God’s house. Whoever believes in God, God can use them. That’s what the Bible says in II Timothy 2:21, “If we keep ourselves pure, we will be a special utensil for God’s use”. Even now, will you offer your body to serve the Lord? Ask God, “Lord, use me also as a useful instrument in Your hand. Let me also become a living stone in Your kingdom. Build my life, Lord.” Would you ask God, my friend?
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, please bring me into Your fellowship. Let Your gracious hand come upon my life and build me as a temple of Your Spirit. Grant me the unique gift You have prepared for me, and let Your abundant grace flow into my heart. Equip me, Lord, to do every good work according to Your will. Build my life exactly according to Your word and make me a living stone in Your house. Help me to grow from glory to glory as Your grace abounds in me. Let my cup overflow with Your power so that this world may know Your greatness through my life. Fulfill Your promise in me, Lord, and shape my life into a dwelling place for Your presence. Be the cornerstone of my life and establish me firmly upon Yourself. Build me, Lord, into a beautiful palace for Your glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen.
